The truth is, they themselves are actually getting really fed up, they never thought thing would be this messed up.

That's why they are trying to consider options they once rejected when the strike was still fresh.

If Buhari should continue to show them, the No Work No Pay policy, along with other tactics, they will continue to be weakened and consider resuming in no time.

Cowards.

You make no sense at all.
I hope you come back to your senses after hrs of been intoxicated.

It is really.
Unfortunately, we have a deceit and a shameless govt in charge too.

So what would they do if they don't end it? They had lost back to back in court. What options do they have?

The guy sodeke is a devil. All appeals, persuades, cajole, etc didn't work. He was adamant. He was arrogant, but God had finally humble him
Well they could as well call off, and go back to strike after a day.
If at all u understand the court verdict

ASUU did not demonstrate good faith in their past negotiations with government. They were just grandstanding at every stage of discussion. This is not good for industrial dispute resolution.

You think anyone care about the no work no pay? ASUU members salary has been held for 11 months before, they didn't die. WHETHER BUHARÎ LIKES IT OR NOT, HE MUST PAY THE SALARY ARREARS AND FULFILL THE 2009 AGREEMENT.
This is a fight to finish. Enough of FG's nonsense. Nobody really cares about the damn meagre salary.

ASUU wulo won tebo! Eni a wifun oba je o gbo! Government gave a lot of conditions to ASU yet they are insisting they will dictate how their salaries are to be paid true their useless UTAS. Many of them who own schools hardly allow their teachers to dictate for them .What next ? Inglorious end to their needless 8 month strike!

No wonder, the country is this way and people especially professional are running away in their numbers. When the vultures in government steal our common wealth to send their children abroad in the best schools empowering those economies, attend to ordinary ear pain abroad, vacation there and have common meetings there, yet they have people drumming their support. No one talks about the sorry state of all our sectors. The people willing to speak are tag cowards. Is there hope for this nation?

I tell you boss. Buhari hasn't impressed me much since he took power but I commend what he and Ngige have both done in this fight against ASUU clipping their wings a little and forcing them to eat huge amounts of humble pie grin

The icing on the cake would be paying them not more than 3 months salaries for the time they sat at home to put fear of strike in their body small so that when they're contemplating on the word "Strike" next time, dem go think twice instead of going ahead to use our students time for chess game grin

ASUU Wasted almost 2 sessions within 3 years period. No be wickedness be dat?

Do not mind this people. Check very well and this kind of person is in the category of youth. Shamelessly glorifying government mediocrity. He may even want to japa and leave this country simply because the people he is so much proud of have rendered the country useless. Such a big shame

Yeyenetu!
i have said it earlier that injuring all of a man's fingers is not as effective as choping off one.
FG should continue fucking this so called ASUU till they receive senses.
FG should approve CONUA and create we versus you between CONUA and ASUU. That's how we can have smooth running academic system.
mind you(uchins). I am one of the products of ASUU and i spent 6years on campus instead of 5 due to ASUU strike.
what have we achieved as students through ASUU strikes.
enough of this rubbish.
Lest i forget, FG should please allocate at least 26% budget to education. Our education needs funds from FG.

You're the one that's very daft.
You want to be paid for abandoning your work for 8 months.
Government has failed every sector in Nigeria and if everyone should abandon work for 8 months, and expected to be paid. The money will just drop from the heaven.
Thieve and daft person calling someone people daft.
I was so happy with what government did fir them.
Why are they now accepting the offer of IPPS accomodating their peculiarities. They were shouting UTAS or nothing.
Only in Nigeria employees dictate payment platform for the employers.

It is unfortunate that the demands of ASUU has not been met, yet want to call off the strike. This means that everything will continue as usual. Further depreciation in the quality of education will continue and all the other underdevelopment in the university education. God purnish this government.
