What you are experiencing is a trick of the devil to make you doubt your salvation, it happened to me as well and it's one of the battles you first fight in your mind after you get born again.

Keep reciting 2 Corinthians 5:17; Psalm 103:13 and Hebrews 8:12. The word of God is the sword of the Spirit with which you drive out the fiery darts of the enemy which he throws as doubtful thoughts in your mind.

Your mind is where you fight the greatest battle in life and as a Christian and we can follow the example of Jesus who handled his own temptations by declaring the word of God that 'It is written'...this is the best way to overcome and gain victory in your mind. Memorize the scriptures and recite them, it will drive out the negative thoughts of your past life that you are having and also instill confidence in your mind that God has forgiven you

Have you read about King David? He committed all sorts of atrocities but he was the man after God's own heart. This was because he always come back to God and seek forgiveness and salvation. He believed that God's abundant mercy is always there for him.
You can attain that and trust that The Lord has forgiven you and move on with your life. That Muslim guy was right you know.

I cannot argue with you because you don't read bible, even me that doesn't goes to church knows how much Paul Suffer.
He was stones, he was blind for 3 days, he was almost killed when he started his missionary journey, go and read your bible, you'll know how much Paul suffer
All the sufferings you referred to were persecutions he experienced for preaching and spreading the gospel and not punishment for what he did to the Christians before he met Jesus Christ.

David snatch Batsheba from Uriah, though he later cried and begged for forgiveness, but don't forget he still suffer it, just give me example of one person that escape his sin in the bible.

David lived in an era when there was no grace and salvation for sinners. Mary the adulterer, Zacheus and the thief on the cross never suffered for their sins to mention but a few. If God is to punish us for our sins in this era of grace like he did in the era of law, who would be able to stand it? By the way, who isn’t a sinner?

Paul’s sufferings had nothing to do with his past life. Stephen who never had Paul’s kind of past was the first to be stoned to death. Persecution wasn’t and is never a punishment for sin.

first step to repentance is to accept your guilt and make restitution. have you done that ? believe me, if you have done this. whenever the devil remind you of your sin. you'll tell him, you've been forgiven.

I do not advise restitution most times because;
1. What if the sin committed cannot be restituted for?
2. What if the offended is not ready and/or willing to forgive even after restitution?
3. Even if the offended forgives, what of the law?
Restitution can only work where genuine Christianity rules...
