I was scrutinizing her from a distance when a man came there, drunk, and talked with her. She sat in his car, later, and he drove away swiftly.

If we analyze the situation closely there’s only one reason she’s doing it— money.

Money makes us do things that we don’t imagine in our dreams when we are young. It makes us degrade ourselves. And it makes us question our values in life.

Saying money is not important holds when you’re no longer a part of this materialistic world. When you join monkhood. But once you’re into this world that makes us unhuman— you need money. You need money as you’re scared of death or fame or status.

Money is bullshit.

And we chase the bullshit throughout our lives.

Humanity is just as debased as other species, we are just blessed with the consciousness, to think, which makes us explore areas such as morality, law, justice, science, etc, that makes us tolerate and live with ourselves. Mehnnn. I have felt tested in this aspect in the last few days but, omo. Thank God for God sha. God dey; it's not something I want to go into, but I just want to say this resonated so much with me.

This is not the whole picture of prostitution sha. There is a systematic angle and cause to it. The majority of prostituted women were forced into it, as under-ages and from a familial background, and they have an history of abuse and pimping. And these things, compounded and magnified makes it all the more hard and complex to break away from.
