Re: 2023: 40% Of Newly Registered Voters Are Students: INEC by aylipple: 11:58pm On Oct 26, 2022
Some of you still don't get it; there's a huge possibility that the "youths" who registered during the last round of CVR are students & if you've seen the academic calendar of majority of the public universities, you'll notice there's no break when the 2023 general elections (Feb 25) will take place.

If that's really the case, it means many students will be away from their polling units thereby denying them the opportunity to exercise their right to vote; coupled with the economic realities on ground, how many of such students have money to travel (to & fro) to their respective polling units & how much more would be willing to take the risk (hopefully the security situation on our roads would've gotten better by then).

Normal. Majority of new voters are those who just met the age requirement and most people around that age range will still be in school.

This is good, eight months of ASUU strike has taught them a bitter lesson.

The current economic hardship is insufferable, buhari led APC government has impoverished nigerians.

We need to rescue this country from total collapse, the growing social polarization is affecting everyone.

I hereby endorse Peter Obi for president.

APC style of presiding over Nigeria must have irritated the youths and made them register for voting to sack APC from power.

Nigerian youths are really ready to take back their country
No they are not.
When they are truly ready to take back their country, they will vote for someone who has once been at the receiving end of police brutality just like the rest of them; they will vote for a youth like them while making sure that anyone who has ever held a political office before (Nigerian politicians in general without leaving anybody out) is booted out of the corridor of power forever.

Buhari indirectly did it so the students on strike would angrily vote against APC as a party.

HANDIWORK OF ASUU STRIKE. APC WILL SURE BE VOTED OUT

That is what any reasonable Nigerian youth should do, to show Thiefnuibu who made Buhari president, that they we are nit lazy.
How can Emilokan Eleribu JagaBandit want to continue these "achievements" of Buhari next year?
God forbid BaThing. Amen.

Colossusgist:
President Muhammadu Buhari has said that many Nigerian youths just want to sit down and do nothing, banking on the notion that Nigerian is an oil-rich nation.

Speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday, the president said a lot of Nigerian youths have not been to school and they want everything free.

See Speech Below

“About the economy, we have a very young population, our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. This is a very conservative one,” Buhari said.

“More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education free.”

The president said he has done well on the three cardinal points of his campaign, including economy and security.

Is it just about voting, and only for the president, or about getting generally involved with other aspects of politics from the grassroots up?
Voting for their LGA councillors & chairmen, state lawmakers and governors, representatives and senators.
Donating their time, talents and money to make more credible, ideologically principled candidates viable alternatives to those sponsored by godfathers and area fathers using thugs to intimidate the people.

Region that have parents with two/three children think the increases in the number of student voters align with their candidates. The propensity and probability that this demographic of young student voters are from 50% from North, 20% from SS, 20% SW/Yorubas and 10% SE/Igbos.

The Northerners are polygamist in nature regardless of their religion. From the core Muslim North to North Central.

The South-South are also 45% polygamist with Edo, Delta and Bayelsa leading the way. Those who are not currently polygamist have children with other women out of wedlock or those traditionalists who believe in the culture of their forefathers. Like Jonathan Asari Dokubo. Edo state has substantial muslim population.

The Yorubas are majorly polygamist regardless of religion. Muslims, Christians and traditionalists.

The only tribe pretending to practice monogamy is the Igbos but we know how the game dey go. They come Lagos and other major cities to come knack. No tribe do Oloshos pass Igbos and just like MTN, everywhere you go. Their men na playas. Abortion is rampant culture here so they have less babies. They are trying to be pope than pope but we know as e dey roll.

When you’re celebrating high registration, be cautious.

the youths are coming

they have no manifestos to campaign with apart from their usual old tribalism and tribal card tactics.

But we'll remind them that tribalism won't bring back dollars to at least 400
tribalism won't bring back fuel to 95 naira
tribalism won't fix our security.
tribalism won't develop our economy.

since suffering knows no tribe or religion, since we're suffering together irrespective of our tribe and religion, it's also fair if we get it right together by sending thieves and those who thinks they can rape Nigeria TURN by TURN.
Enough is Enough!!!

2023 will be the youths vs the criminals
it won't be business as usual.

Bro in southwest majority of the youth are going for tinubu and Atiku stop doing like mumu

Nigerian youths have one candidate running against old establishment. Your vote is your voice, use it wisely. They will come with money, collect it and still vote with your head, or reject it entirely and vote with all confidence. This golden opportunity we must not miss!

Write this down is your joter and pin it to your wall. Nigeria will regret big time bringing Obi to power. Nigeria problem is not leadership as we all think. Whoever win among all the contestant will not change anything. I am not cursing us o, but our problem can not be address by leadership direction but but by our own willingness to change the situation. If Nigeria problem is leadership, things supposed turn around under Buhari.
