rayopt:Payoneer doesn't release your funds if not up to $5000. Isn't that a huge restraint? What if I'm getting paid only $2000? I have to wait to get $3000 more to get my money out... Not cool at all... Nothing is cool about Payoneer |

pocohantas:Does geegpay allow you to receive from an individual bank account, and not only a business account? That's one of the limitations of Payoneer, their Dom accounts will only receive from a business account. |

Every problem as a solution. Look for someone that can trust your line of work, they can pay into the person's account and that person can remit to you. If you give the person a small cut, its a win-win. Say you make $2000 a month, and you agree on a 10% cut, he gets $200 and he remits $1800 via western union or worldremit, you get paid and no blockage. Your Oga wont want to be doing all these app transfers...think outside of the box my people. tensazangetsu20: |

Paysend....Those in Europe, Israel especially etc, enters into your account ( eg current account) Worldremit Western Union/Moneygram: Let them remove charges from your money send wave and some others from USA... Problem in Naija is payment( paying for things from Nigeria), so u are forced to patronise fintechs whether or not you trust them. |

MasterTeeUSA: LMAOOOO! Most foolish suggestion ever. You think humans can be trusted with $2000? Besides why would people be loosing out $200 every month on top of transfers when they are other ways of legit receiving money you're totally in control of. 2 Likes |

tensazangetsu20: Your agency is suppose to have a viable non-stressful way of allowing you to receive money globally. They are suppose to carry that heavy burden & not you looking for several means to solve problems when agency is taking a percentage of your actual income. |
Re: Web Developers / Freelaancers: How Are You Getting Paid From Outside Nigeria? by MasterTeeUSA: 3:12am On Dec 07, 2022 |
I never told you to follow the suggestion, I just gave you one...but the most important point was that every problem has a solution. When you order food on the app in Nigeria, the service charge before delivery is 10% then you pay for delivery. You don't think of it as stupid because they are offering you a service. You can negotiate 5% with the person, but if you want someone to allow the use of his account at no cost, then that makes no sense. If you see Crypto as a better alternative, go for it...but hey, FTX was a warning to you. Like a Yoruba adage always say...if you see a sign of bad thing, think of it as a warning. I am still amazed at how many people will pick Crypto with no backup over doing transactions with their own kinsmen. A word is enough for the wise. By the way, we do millions of dollars of transactions daily outside of the country ...you send dollars to people, and they send Naira to your account in Nigeria effortlessly. They will do it at a reduced rate, but it's faster and makes more sense than sending dollars and waiting for pickup and Sabo market. Every problem has a solution. A word again is enough for the wise. truthsayer009: |

MasterTeeUSA:I have heard from people who's money got to our "kinsmen" abroad for payments but they ate it and never remitted. Crypto exchanges don't crash every day. I think most freelancers would prefer to receive USD and change by themselves because you get the best conversion that way. Losing 3% to withdrawal fees is distressing enough to someone like me, I can imagine that guy or any freelancer for that matter would be sorely pissed to lose 10% of their income monthly to an intermediary. |

Be like you're just waking up? So if you work for a company that pays its staff via paypal and you're the only one that is having issues with payment and you still want a full and functional company to bend it's process because of you? Think very well before you post on public forums. truthsayer009: |
