Could you be kind enough to tell us the location, at least we can benefit from it.

yeah! The reason for this drop in price of dollar to naira is that Obi was accused of hypocrisy for campaigning on a production economy while in fact he is one of the biggest importers in the country. Out of shame and his foolish smartness, he stopped importation. Making demand for dollars to come down. grin

Most BDC operators are selling between $750 and above as of today, you may bargain lower if you are buying in large quantity.

Its the official policy that makes this dubious policy boom. Former CBN Governor has affirmed that by mere having connection, you can make billions on Naira without offering anything into the market, just by procure Dollars and take it to black market and sell, not only this the policy gives our political elites the opportunity to launder money with ease, because black market operators have no record of their transaction. Until transaction of BDEs is subjected to what is obtained in POS operations which uses bank accounts of their clients for their transactions, government cannot monitor them. A situation where people we just come and exchange million of Dollars without trace we make black market to be the choice of money launderers.

Dollar will get to 540 very soon . Brace up....
Impossible!?
How?

The price of Naira to dollar apart from speculation is from market pressures. Our demand for dollars is through the roof because we import EVERYTHING: thus, Naira will be undervalued!

Just because the majority of BDC operators are Northerners that's why they are still in operation despite the fact that they are causing great harm to the economy. Had it been it was done by the southerners, they would have been history by now.

Even though, i am yet to believe this news. Would it reduce the cost of goods and services? It's because many Nigerians out there like taking advantage of prices for excess gain in the name of Buhari's govt.

You’re not just dumb but so foolish. So a dollar at #690 is an achievement right?? So nothing spoil again because it’s now at 690. The way some of u reason in this country ehn, na to flush una inside toilet better aswear. What happened to the $1=#1 Buhari promised? Or is it a crime if it gets down to atleast #120?!

At this rate Obi will still sell as a Messiah, because the dollar is still high, especially if he can bring it down to its barest minimum.

things never spoil finish

it’s like someone raped your wife 4 solid times in your presence and you are glad the person didn’t release inside her in the 4th and final round

that’s how your mind is

is nigeria not fvck ed already by APC ?

from $1= N169 in 2014 to $1=690 in 2022?

that’s 245% depreciation in value

meaning if you kept N100,000 in the bank in Nigeria in 2014, today it’s worth just N41,000 compared to the standard of 2014

just like on your way to the bank to deposit N100k in 2014, and someone robbed you of N59,000 from that money, same thing

is that progress ?

Keep it there. It is temporary. A lot of things will happen in a few months that will make it shoot up again. No matter what, it still has more value. It is just a response to a weak dollar at the moment...and the US mid-term elections. We go soon hear ween.

What and wat will make the dollar price rise again?

Oil is the principal exchange commodity truly, but when the exchange is done some idiotic self minded miscreant was getting the bulk of the money and stashing in their dirty abode, but they had to deposit it back as circulating money due to currency redesign. Hence excess naira in circulation for Nigeria economy will invariably bring gain (as it means that the miscreant will be compelled to spend naira in most of their cash transactions)
