EFCC-nomics! The same approach that was used in 2015/2016 in the name of fighting corruption. Blocked all sources of FX inflow that resulted in the collapse of small and medium sized businesses. Till date, the economy is yet to recover from that failed decision.

Both policies have the same effect they set an expiry date for wealth stored in either instrument
which means holders have to exit the instrument within a short period
. In theory a rush to exit the dollar should crash the rate BUT
If your hypothesis is true it should affect the dollar rate not just in Nigeria but across Africa and all over the world Is that happening

This so called stockpile of dollars exists not just in Africa but across the World EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE there is criminal activity= drugs , guns etc
