I hit my girlfriend yesterday because she suggested opening up our relationship. It wasn't a big deal tho. I just slapped her face.
She grabbed some of her stuff and left to her parents house angered but didn't break up with me yet. I sent her a text "If you wanna break up im fine with it but i need a clarification" and she replied "i don't know, let's talk tomorrow"
Is there any way to fix this? I don't know if i over reacted but i felt disrespected. I just acted without thinking

I don't seem to understand what you wrote, you hit her for suggesting opening your relationship with her. In what way does she mean, and what right do you have to hit her? You have no right whatsoever to do that. Whether you gave chance to fix it is between the two of you, as you are both adults.
