I don't think so...rather,Nigerians voted GEJ out because of incompetency and massive corruption. I voted him in 2011 on the account of his slogan...breath of fresh air. I was thinking cos he's the first university graduate we'd have as a major contestant and from a leading party, coupled with the little sound experience we had when his boss Alh. Yaradua was in power before the unfortunate death. He came.and messed things up. People actually thought he performed so well cos of the oil boom. Had Nigeria harnessed that opportunity optimally, we'd have fared much more better as a nation under his administration then and till now. He allowed corruption to hold sway as if he'd be there forever.

Buhari wasn't a good alternative either. We just wanted to try him, given his antecedents in the 80s.

Next year's election would be a different ball game. Obi has my vote. So far, he's the only candidate who reasons logically and can match his words with action, given his antecedents.
