No region has experienced religious crisis like the Northern region. Hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost in the North in numerous religious crisis in Kano, Bauchi, Plateau, Kaduna etc.
My mum told us how my elder brother was nearly killed by Muslims in a religious crisis in Bauchi, far back in 1995.
The Hausas and Northern Muslims do not hesitate to attack Christians at any slightest provocation. I'm sure you're aware of Deborah's case, there are thousands of unreported situations like that happening in the far north.
So you should know that the issue of religion is very sensitive to an average Northern Christian, especially the ones from NE and NW.
