In the last 10 days, the All progressives Congress in Kwara state has witnessed an influx of thousands of new members following the Women's presidential Campaign flag off and a youth rally in support of the State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

Thousands of Kwarans on Thursday came out in droves for the official flag off of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kashim Shettima presidential campaign in Ilorin with Gov. Abdulrazaq saying that the APC ticket is the most progressive path to a greater Nigeria.

The flag-off was led by the First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari, joined by several first ladies from APC states, top government and party officials from Abuja and across the country. Also in attendance were the wives of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shetimma: Senator Oluremi and Mrs Nana. Top government officials in Kwara state were also in attendance.

The event which took place on Thursday witnessed the attendance of thousands of Party faithful and Supporters in Illorin.

Speaking on it, Gov. Abdulrazaq stated; "I am very happy that the State of Harmony was chosen for the flag-off. Our support for Asiwaju Tinubu is not because he is perfect. Our support for Asiwaju is because of his provable excellent track record as a people’s person who is able to consolidate on the gains of the present, drive inclusive growth, and lead our country to become more prosperous."

"Asiwaju has the experience. He has the temperament. And he has the right network to make our country more united and stronger. By their antecedents, it is clear that the Asiwaju Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket is the most experienced and the most progressive combination available on the ballot in 2023."

Governor’s welcome of decampees from PDP, SDP, others

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq also welcomed decampees from PDP, SDP and other political parties. He led several leaders, stakeholders, and members of the party to welcome top opposition bigwigs and thousands of their supporters.

Speaking on this, the Governor said: "We welcome all the decampees and appreciate everyone for the conviction and trust in our party. We are going to work to achieve success together. We will treat everyone fairly as members of our party."

Yahaya Seriki led youth rally in support of Gov. Abdulrazaq

Meanwhile, on Friday 25th November, 2022, the Kwara state All Progressives Congress Campaign council DG Amb. AbdulFatai Yahya Seriki shutdown the Ilorin metropolis as he led a youth solidarity rally for the Governor's Re-election Bid.

According to him, APC is the only formidable party in Kwara State. In his words; "I urge to go back to your polling units and wards to mobilize support for Governor AbdulRazaq and other APC candidates. Vote APC for President, Senate, House of Representatives, Governorship and House of Assembly come 2023. The Governor has laid good foundation for development. He has implemented projects in every local government area. His impactful projects are scattered all over the state. He is running youth friendly and People's oriented government."

APC Superiority over others is alarming.

Peter Obi may likely decamp to APC before January.

Atiku is bankrupt.

That it the new propaganda now by APC, fictitious claims of decamping, so it will look like they are winning already, the next step will be to start buying over small parties which I feel some of them were funded by the same APC to make it look like they are collapsing their structures for APC grin

But we already know their plans even before hand and our resolve remains with OBIDATTI - the winning team

Nigeria is currently at a stage where same people attend different political rallies because of what they may share ( money, facecap...).
I live in ilorin and I can say it that people are not pleased with abdulrahaman. If you live here just take cab or go to barbing saloon or where people gathered you will know they don't like the governor. The only person they speak well about is salihu mustapha contesting for APC kwara central senatorial sit.

May God help us and bless today for us

There is hunger in kwara now , so any rich politicians can give people N500 each to stage decamp to Apc , just to get money from TINUBU.
But the reality is People are leaving otoge govt of Apc to OSUWA movement of saraki pdp.
Just imagine, people going back to their dictator when Gov Ramon failed totally

Lies and deception

Whoever is staying in Kwara will understand their ploy. The APC ranks have been highly depleted by PDP/Saraki Tsunami. This became more evident with the intimidating reception of PDP/ Atiku in his recent Campaign tour among others. However, this arrangee was designed by the governor's lieutenants to give a false hope to the governor and mislead the public. Same APC guys are decamping to APC. APC tilo ni Kwara

Not even an ant, i mean an ANT, has decamped to Labour Party since this campaign started. Because Labour Party is a leper. The yahoo boys following Obi about will claim someone gave them money to decamp to APC. Who will decamp to a losing party? People only decamp to a winning party without any inducement.

I am curious as to why there are no decampings to the LP even with Obi's growing popularity.

Politics is local and party membership is sacrosacnt.

Or they don't care? Are they hoping that a Tinubu presidency will outperform Buhari's presidency? cheesy
