[color=#990000][/color] pls wuld some1 kindly advice me on how 2 get rid of weevels in my kitchen, now they dnt only stay in d beans bt fly abt d in d kitchen house. I cant seem 2 kill enuf of them wen am picking beans cos i end up eatin enuf of eat after cooking beans. My hubby has used bagon insecticides on them several times,it does kill them bt d next hour u see them in millions again.

I got a bag of whole dry peppers and put them in with the beans - voila, weevils killed
I think having an airtight container with the pepper in helped, as I coughed like crazy when opening it.

Put the beans in an airtight container and store in the freezer; thats what I do.

You can also dry the beans out in the hot sun ---

THOSE weevils are also a source of protein

When U see them on ur beans again, bring the whole cooked beans for me, I promise U that U won't see them in ur house the next day.

Dry the beans so well in sun and keep your kitchen as dry as possible.
