Anytime you hear these press releases by the NNPC telling Nigerians there are billions of litres of fuel in stock, just know the scarcity is about to bite harder.

Believe NNPCL at your own peril!

They have stealthily increased pump prices twice; both following an acute scarcity.

We wait to hear from the Minister of Petroleum… much like waiting for a stone to talk

There have been fuel scarcity since May, that I know of. I can count the number of times I've bought fuel in a filling station since May. Everytime I have to depend on black market.

I'm disappointed in the stupid youths on twitter shouting "NIGERIA IS THE GIANT OF AFRICA".
Omo! See the stress of getting to lagos island these days cos of fuel scarcity. After the days work and you get home, EKDC won't bring light and no fuel to power the generator set. See the cost of things for market.
Omo!
Lagos island is overrated. EKDC won’t bring light for two weeks. I have moved back to the mainland. Mainland is enjoying uninterrupted power supply. At least 15hours.

Which part of Mainland under EKEDC coverage is enjoying 15hrs uninterrupted?
Most parts only get 7-8hrs depending on area and mostly during the night hours.

You have 2 billions litres available and Nigeria consumes 35 million litres everyday,so how long will it last.A country that have crude oil in abundance with four non functional refineries. If you want to see the tenth wonders of the world, just visit Nigeria.

They should include this balance to every salary or give Nigerians as transport allowance, my opinion though.
Nwakannaya1:
All year round, there's been petrol scarcity in Abuja.

I do not have problem with price increase but what would happen to the subsidy balance since less would be paid for subsidy when the consumers pay higher. That's the issue.

250-300 naira is the new normal, hopefully we'd adjust to it, NNPC must have simply hoarded petrol to cause price increase.

They should stop telling Nigerians nonsense because our eyes are not blind,we can see and feel what is happening, biko!
•Why is it always a re- occurring thin in Nigeria, that our Crude Oil can't be processed locally?
•Why is it always that from October - December every year, all over Lagos, que is everywhere!
•NNPC should be desolved,as they are adding sorrow, tears and time wastage to Nigerians !
Very Shameful!
