Saturday 3rd December witnessed further rounds of consultation to Constituent communities within the Gokana LGA of Rivers South-East Senatorial District by Chief Hon. Ambassador Oji Nyimenuate Ngofa, APC Senatorial Candidate for the 2023 National Assembly Election.

Leading the visitation train to Lewe and K-Dere Communities was former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC and current Vice Chairman, South-South, Chief Hon. Victor Tambari Giadom, who was joined by Dr. Innocent Barikor , Deputy Governorship Candidate of APC, Hon. Anthony Biragbara, State House of Assembly Candidate for Gokana State Constituency and senior party officials from the. LGA.

Senatorial Candidate, Chief Hon. Ambassador Oji Ngofa, who was accompanied by his campaign Director-General, Dr. Elvis Lebura Ikoma and other critical members of his campaign council from the Ogoni bloc, introduced his mission and message to Lewe and K-Dere accordingly at their respective native enclaves.

Ambassador Oji Ngofa restated his motivation for grassroot service delivery; reciprocal representation, feedback approach and the desire to coordinate and facilitate a leadership that would be visible amongst the people, to rally their opinions, needs and aspirations, and transmit same by means of real time legislative representation and oversights amongst others. The Ambassador further decried the lack of effective representation at the peak of federal government being suffered by Ogonis and Rivers South-East, he assured the people, that his entry into the Senate in 2023 shall mark a critical difference in the lives of the people.

In Lewe, HRH. Mene Lebatam Sibe, Paramount Ruler of Ancient Lewe Community, who spoke on behalf of himself, the youths and Lewe Council of Chiefs , assured the APC train, and particularly the Senatorial Candidate, that the honour done the community by this singular visit, and the impactful friendship, which the community shares with the APC and it's Chieftains, shall be reciprocated via the ballots across the 12 Polling Units of Lewe in 2023.

Also in K-Dere, the administrative landmark achievements of the APC leadership under Chief Hon. Victor Giadom was extolled. The community leadership, speaking through it's Paramount Ruler at the Palace, Mene Maxwell Gberesuu (Mene bon Kegbara), emphatically stated that it would be a disservice if the people of K-Dere fail to massively galvanize supports and voters for all APC Candidates. K-Dere people sobberingly declared that never have the community had a feeling of government presence in their whole history outside the road leading to the community, which was constructed by Chief Victor Giadom. They enthused that Oji Ngofa as a Senator in 2023, shall be a source to tap from, as his records of service in the past, present him as a reliable politician who keeps to his promises.
