Most the hurricanes are named after women and they are freakingly mean as ladies. Tho we have 2 named after men ie Hurricane Ike I have forgotten the other one. Ike was very bad but not as bad as katrina. All the meanest hurricane are those named after women. .

Actually, the first Hurricane in a year is name after a woman, then the next in that same year is named after a man. BUT if one hurricane happens in a year and another one the next year, it gets a woman's name again.

the storms alternate between male and female and the start name alternates as well. there are multiple list though the atlantic is the main one people hear about. please view the link to the NOAA for further details and the correct info
