His Excellency Dr. Hamza Al-Mustapha is contesting for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 election under the Action Alliance. His quest for the Office of the President is borne out of his patriotic desire and commitment to make Nigeria Great Again.

I have known him right from his days in Oputa Panel that he is oratory and convincing, and has used that in his advantage in today's chat.

However there are take home from his speech that reveals his inner mounovering approach

1. It is very surprising that he never mentioned the name of Obasanjo who ruled twice as a military administrator and as a president while analysing the role played by each past rulers as he eulogies them one after the other and placed the error in their reign in the doorstep of unseen foreign hand but tactically blame Obasanjo government for Nigeria failure.

Was it because Obasanjo jailed him and he is just being vindictive?

2. He blamed the foreign powers for our woes when indeed the government where he was a security adviser work with foreign partners to steal our monies and resources

3. Whatever information that is in his possession is not enough reason why he should be president. Why not divulge those information and allow the government and Nigerian public act on it?

4. Would there have been external control if there's no internal collaboration? Why didn't he name the internal collaborators?

5. Some of his information about oil theft were known by Nigerian and are in public domain before now, Pastor Adeboye make reference to it the other time so also other notable Nigerians, adding colour to it by Al mustapha doesn't make it new.

He just wanted to ride on peoples emotion by creating a fantasy out of existing problems we all know.

He doesn't have what it takes to change Nigeria

I watched some of Al-Mustapha's recent interviews and was marvelled.. mewa n sele ni Nigeria ta wa yi.

A soldier to the core.. fearless, ruthless and decisive. One thing I saw with him is genuine patriotism to Nigeria. I don't think we have plenty of such men around today, na japa full everybody mind.

Funny.

That some mentally deranged Nigerians will one day queue behind a former hitman and executioner for Late General Abacha, one of the most kleptomaniac dictators in the West of Africa is not just laughable, but utterly disgusting.

I remember reading stories about him on Tell Magazine.

Questions you should ask are who were those sponsoring the stories in Tell magazines. Who were those sponsoring stories he was a hitman, etc etc. A court does not judge a case by listening to one side of a story

You cannot blame him for his God-given talent. At 34 years he became one of the most important figures in the country.
His dexterity with words was a result of his knowledge, and knowledge they say is power. If you have a wealth of knowledge, you are far above your equals, your mates are no longer your mate, even your elders.

1. It is very surprising that he never mentioned the name of Obasanjo who ruled twice
When you are in Politicks, you pick your fight intelligently. Hamza is an intelligent officer from his youth, one of the finest so he knows what he is doing. Unseen Foreign being used is strategic, in geopolitics you don't make a lot of enemies, he must have learnt that from Abacha's failure. Abacha regime was heavy sanction for making.

1999, was the beginning of a new democracy in Nigeria and the Obasanjo government was the herald of it.
Myself was surprised that he refer to the Obasanjo regime as another government, even the Moderator noticed that and asked if he was afraid of OBJ. Maybe he was trying to avoid Obj's story till another day. One will also notice him calling out Elders-statemen frequently.

Was it because Obasanjo jailed him and he is just being vindictive?
He was jailed under Abdulsalam Government, "al-Mustapha was removed from office and subsequently arrested - wikipedia"

2. He blamed the foreign powers for our woes when indeed the government where he was a security adviser work with foreign partners to steal our monies and resources
This is old propaganda that Abacha. Even the incumbent President claims otherwise.
If Abacha steal our monies and resources, why is it possible for him to still raise the foreign reserve from about $1.7b to over $5.7b before he died? Yet he was running a government under sanction.(FxR data obtained here https://knoema.com/atlas/Nigeria/International-reserves)

3. Whatever information that is in his possession is not enough reason why he should be president. Why not divulge those information and allow the government and Nigerian public act on it?
If you watch the program till the end you will hear him saving Pres Buhari from signing an $11n Ajaokuta Project scam.

4. Would there have been external control if there's no internal collaboration? Why didn't he name the internal collaborators?
The current government have list of looters and terrorist sponsor, what have they done with that?

5. Some of his information about oil theft were known by Nigerian and are in public domain before now, Pastor Adeboye make reference to it the other time so also other notable Nigerians, adding colour to it by Al mustapha doesn't make it new.
He started his story from the 80s and the beginning of it.

He just wanted to ride on peoples emotion by creating a fantasy out of existing problems we all know. He doesn't have what it takes to change Nigeria
He was an important figure in the Government before most of today's crop of politicians.
I will like to challenge you to mention just 2 Candidates who boldly outlined Nigeria's problem to its core and profer solution to it.
Tinubu and Atiku dare not because they both belong to the same order
Peter Obi is still a newcomer (of 2006), his knowledge is based on figures obtained from pages of the internet which is why he goofs many times.
Sowore should not be mentioned in the same sentence as the Nigeria's President-elect, Maybe Minister of Sport or Labour should be okay for him
