If Tinubu or Atiku wins , no Christian would have been in aso rock for 24 years.

Personally, I have nothing against whatever religion is ruling a state as long as it's the indigenous people of the state that are ruling.. the reason why the North have a problem is because it's the Fulani who are ruling them and they don't allow the Hausa to have a say, including Hausa Muslims who have no say. The Hausas are simply enslaved in their own ancestral lands. I understand the plight of some Northern states and also the plight of those who are wary of Islam altogether because first, some of their practise are retrogressive and then the moment you try to indulge such religion, your culture get eroded and you could get dominated by outsiders in the process. Look at North Africans today.. They've been eroded after the Arabs colonised and enslaved them. The Arabs eroded them. They're neither Africans nor Arabs today. Egyptian were actually Blacks before! Olive in colours like the Ethiopians. Even Kanuri who brought in Islam through trading don't have a culture today. It's been eroded. Islam is an Arab culture which is all about domination which was used by Arabs to dominate other people, for example the North Africans. For me, Arab were even worse than the British colonists because British didn't erode African culture but instead preserved it and even wrote about it. All what the British did was to enlighten Africans and stopped some barbaric acts such as killing of the twins. They didn't erode African culture but persevered them. Some of them even tried to emulate African cultures. Their only flaws was colonising Africans.

Anyway, I understand why non Muslims in the North are wary of the whole thing. Personally, if I had thought about all these things, I would have been at the fore front of asking Tinubu to choose a Northern Christian. Previously I didn't have a problem with the double Muslim Muslim ticket but thinking about it now, I don't know if it can be rectified because first, this would give a semblance of inclusiveness for these people who are few in the North.. Benue, Taraba, Plateau, FCT, Southern Kaduna etc..

Secondly, I believe it would help Tinubu candidacy the more because we're talking about the nation here, not state. National level comprises everyone and not everyone is a Yoruba who will identify with Tinubu's Yoruba identity hence Tinubu needs another identification card for others to support him. Of course we all know he's competent with the best track records out there and all but the point is some wouldn't look at that. He's a Muslim hence Christians who are not Yorubas may not want to support him but if he had a Christian VP, these people would definitely identify and support Tinubu.

Thirdly, there's need for inclusiveness at the national level. I still believe that all these need to be changed. Or at least, a quasi VP role should be implemented.

And Yeah, I support Tinubu because he's got the best decorated track records out there

I just find it hypocritical that his Obi supporters are calling some candidate tribalistic for rallying the tribal line when their candidate is openly campaigning based on religion.

Also, my notion is Tinubu has the best track records out there. That's not changed. His tracks records are excellent.

Of course I recognize the whole double Muslim Muslim ticket debacle. I don't know how it can be rectified in a way. Maybe Lalong should be brought in, to foil Peter Obi's constant church going canvass. I dunno. But point is Tinubu has excellent track records.
