Ex Super Eagles Players Arrive Kano to Flagoff Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Tour


Over 27 former Super Eagles legends have arrived in Kano to kick off the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Tour, which will take place at the Sani Abacha Stadium Kano.


Honourable Baffa Baba Dan Agundi welcomed the players.


Addressing the media briefly after receiving the players, the politician expressed delight at the development and promised to make their stay in the state memorable as they embark on a National Presidential Campaign Tour in support of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Agudi described the players as one of the best things to happen to the country, as they brought joy to every home in Nigeria during their playing days, and football remains the world’s most uniting tool.


Over 27 former Super Eagles legends, including Daniel Amokachi, Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, Julius Aghahowa, Mutiu Adepoju, Emmanuel Babayaro, and others, have already arrived in Kano for the flag-off.

So you see, it’s not about age but the quality of the ideas of the leader, competency, management acumen, nationalistic outlook and the ability to appreciate the diversity of Nigeria.

Most of the ex super eagles players in Kano today to support Tinubu are not even Yorubas. They are from different ethnicities but they are sensible and patriotic enough to understand the qualities needed in the next president of Nigeria and that’s why they are supporting Tinubu.

Peter Obi doesn’t have the capacity, competency, national outlook, track record and the right ideas to manage a diverse country like Nigeria. The country will collapse under him in less than 6 months. This is the time to remove sentiments and do what is right for your country.

Tinubu is the best candidate among the leading contenders. He will rebuild the country and set her on the path of growth and shared prosperity. We must do everything to ensure he’s elected President next February.
