garfield1:Can this be a joke or what? Tinubu will have more votes than Atiku in SE and you think that is possible? Where are APC structure in SE? |

IfnobeGod20: Why not? In IMO,apc rules while pdp is divided.in abia, pdp is divided while apc is united.in ebonyi, pdp is almost dead while umahi dominates.in Enugu, ugwuanyi is against atiku while some in pdp supports tinubu. |

mrksquare:What is the shame on the judge for? Did you even bother to read the reason he gave for his own judgement? The Constitution made room for an appeal court in case one is dissatisfied with any judgement! |

garfield1:Please you have to consider the impulse of people there than this division you're talking about. SE hate anything APC and I don't see APC having 10% in the whole SE. No way APC can beat PDP in south East, that is sure, forget the division you're talking about.. APC will surely spend the money and people we chop their money and still leave them naked. Know this and be at peace. |

This judgement is very profound indeed but unfortunately for APC and SDP, it would not alter the upcoming guber election. APC has been decimated with many of their foot soldiers joining PDP and the remnant fraternizing with Godwin Abe. With the major opposition divided, PDP will carry the day. The long period of uncertainty concerning APC participation dealt the final blow. SIm Fubara would share the riverine votes with Cole and the Ogonis will vote Abe but the main upland(outside Ogoniland) would vote massively for SIM to carry the day. Likewise, the verdict does not alter the presidential race projection. Tinubu is not in good term with the Rivers APC and Cole would not risk further alienating his remaining voters to offer Tinubu a support. Abe has already distanced himself quietly from BAT after his initial support for him backfired. This election can only be competitive if Nyerisi makes the mistake of supporting any other person except Obi in the presidential race as this would drive many fanatical Obi supporters in vote rich areas of Oyigbo, OBALGA, etc. away from SIM. Nyerisi is a grassroot mobilizer and an old political fox and I see him charging out and shooting from all angles including playing the ethnic card to see SIM through. erospecial: |

Amaechi been left in the cold since, his party men coming to Rivers to do anti party activities by siding with Wike and taking jabs at him. I hope this allows him and his people do their campaign. However, I hope he remembers how he sabotaged Oshiomhole and APC in Edo by supporting the grand traitor Obaseki even after he moved to PDP? It's sweet, let Amaechi also feel what he once dished out to Oshiomhole |

The Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt has overturned a previous Federal High Court judgment that nullified the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State for the upcoming 2023 General Elections. The decision came after APC members, led by former gubernatorial aspirant Magnus Abe, challenged their exclusion from the party's congresses. The plaintiffs requested that the court nullify the delegate congresses and all primaries of the APC, including for state houses of assembly elections, House of Representatives, Senate, and governorship elections. The FHC nullified all primary elections conducted by the party in Rivers State after excluding some party members as delegates. However, the Court of Appeal upheld the appellants' submissions and restored all APC candidates back on the ballot. The party is fielding candidates for governor, deputy governor, three senatorial seats, 13 House of Representatives seats, and 32 State House of Assembly seats. Taxi From Ceiba to San Juan |
