Two clear and present dangers to the unity of Nigeria.
1. Atiku's quest for presidency after a northern Muslim Fulani.
2. Tinubu Muslim-Muslim ticket.

All hands must be on desk to stop these old fellas trying to implode our country by their greedy ambition.

Blind bat, you left one out of the three leading Presidential candidates you are clamouring for.

With the three Presidential candidates most of you are dying to elect, Nigeria will never move forward until you learn to revolt instead of pandering to vultures with known records of drug peddling, looting and terrorism.

The Youths want their grandparents in the grave to wake up and rescue them while they Japa.

1000% correct. It is mainly the North that does not want what is highlighted in bold in your post.

That is why an Atiku Presidency will be a disaster the Yorubas, already with one leg out of Nigeria administratively, will fight tooth and nail.

The Yorubas are looking forwards to freedom and the chance to make some solid progress, under a more autonomous and progressive arrangement with power devolved towards states and region.

Especially after Buhari's disastrous rule where nothing positive, per the many fundamental reforms Nigeria needed, was implemented.

No Army can stop an idea whose time has come and the Yorubas won't return to Egypt for anything or anyone.

We gave Buhari and the North a chance and are not looking to walk into another 8 years of slavery under another reform-resistant, unprogressive, regressive and nepotistic Northerner determined to keep things as they are.

We now accept it cannot be well with us as long as the Presidency remains so strong and Nigerians remain so nepotistic, clannish and ethnocentric.

Buhari has put that argument to bed to show 'one Nigeria', with an over-powerful Presidency (in a nation with weak institutions, armed forces and parastatals strong men can Hijack) is very bad and rancid meat not everyone want to continue eating.

The least Nigerians deserve and must have is regional autonomy. For example, with State policing, it is a foregone conclusion the Yorubas will have the best trained and most modern security force in West Africa.

Dealing with some rag tag herdsmen killers will be a walk in the park for us because we'd have a modern, dominant, ultra-effective, DNA-based, scientific and technologically advanced police force 'one Nigeria' currently prevents us having.

Instead what we have today is policing that remains in 1922 and borders porous as a 20 year old sponge that would even allow 5 batallions of unknown killers from Mali and Chad breach our borders to be killing Nigerians and sacking them from their ancestral land while the police, by commission and/or omission, look the other way.

Imagine Britain or the USA being toubled daily and for years, with no solution in sight, by a bunch of illiterate, untrained, disorganized and vagrant cattle herders turned criminals, killers, rapists and kidnappers? Abaxha once said when insurgency last for more than 24 hours then the Government is involved.

No sensible adult can say the insurgency in Nigeria, now our daily and monthly reality, does not resemble one that is nefarious and government-assisted to facilitate land grab and forced/armed settlement of outsiders that indigenes have the right to reject. All this while State policing gets rejected routinely and regularly.

What 'one Nigeria' lunacy has visited on well-meaning Nigerians is a horrid tragedy those who introspect and reflect, like the Yorubas, can fathom.

We appreciate it should not be happening yet we know why it is. 'One Nigeria' where any individual or cabal in charge of the Presidency can use it as a tool to elevate or destroy millions.

Already preaching against one Nigeria.
Isn't that rather too early?

I was never a fan of 'one Nigeria' but not an advocate of outright break-up which would be tenuously resisted/frustrated and virtually impossible to deliver in our life time.

I only ever supported Buhari because of the belief strong, brave, valiant and well-respected leaders have the power to implement the fundamental reforms Nigeria badly needs to thrive a d make rapid progress.

My thinking is that, rather than continue hosting deleterious 'one Nigeria', only benefiting a few, we should have a system of governance similar to that of the USA that benefits majority of Nigerians.

I.e a governance model where States have their own police force, constitution and considerable freedom over policies allowing them to maximize their peculiar socio-economic advantages.

The greatest solution required, that will develop Nigeria quickly beyond recognition, is simply 'teach a man to fish' reforms and who can implement them.

Not all the redundant manifesto and rhetoric candidates are lobbying us with. This is a particular reason I can't stand Atiku and most Northern leaders .

It is not rocket science to work out that leaders, like Atiku, who insist vehemently open grazing must be retained are not reformers.

“Let's be like USA, New York and New Jersey, they are side by side, yet they have different laws, constitution, policemen, that's what it should be, not someone dictating from Abuja and slowing down our education, economy, military and making Nigeria unsafe. This evil system die today!

What BMFBOKOISWA IS DOING TO NIGERIA IS MADNESS.
PANTAMI AND EMEFIELE UNDER BUHARI ARE JUST BURGLARISING BUSINESSES ANYHOW AND THE CAC, CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION ANYHOW TOO.
THE NORTH IS PRACTICALLY HANDLING NIGERIA OVER TO OIC AND THE ARABS. THE NORTH IS NOT RUSSIA AND THE SOUTH IS NOT UKRAINE. THE LORD WILL PROVIDE HIMSELF A LAMB FOR SACRIFICE.

We all want a system like that but when we preached and preached here, what did you guys do? Insult upon insult, shaming upon shaming.

Lots of people can't stand tinubu too for some particular reasons. It's still what it is. If tinubu wins tomorrow, will you preach state control?
