Your government is unable to build and maintain decent infrastructure like roads. This business person had to build those just to operate, you still want him to pay taxes that are supposed to be for building the infrastructure?

There is this concept I don't understand.

One of the non oil revenues is tax, yet we keep hearing of tax waivers for great industrialists, what exactly is that supposed to mean?

Dangote own sef don too much.
Economic monopoly and huge Forex rebates, no businessman or woman enjoys these privileges, then tax waivers again, na wetin?

2.4 trillion tax waivers for over 170 firms is just like further enriching them with that amount at the expense of other Nigerians.

You mean big firm in this country were just making money of the poor without giving back to the economy. Nigeria leaders have been clueless and visisonless. A bunch of lazy mind relying on oil revenues. Chai. Tax that advance nations use to run their countries. Whoever aay PDP 16 years isn't a waste is an enemy of the country. Buhari regime, no matter how bad have taken new step towards chatting a bold path for the economy. Why do I feel that this man successor will be the most privilege in recent years.

Buhari is the best president this country has ever produced, and his political will to tackle issues is equal to none, only that he started making positive impacts at the dying minute

I wrote about this sometime ago. Good one.
In other countries people go to jail for years like they killed someone just for tax evasion. Nigeria has made it a haven for them. That's an offence.

How are they encouraging new companies to be set up, especially those that are venturing into new areas of manufacturing? Increasing taxes in the face of dwindling revenue is irresponsible, what are they doing to improve the economy? This is no doubt the worst Finance team the country has ever produced. What positive impact has the borrowing done for the country?

We dont hear them talking about cutting the cost of governance, not too long ago they approves jumbo life assurance packages for themselves.

Its all about benefits for themselves and zero responsibility and accountability to the public. Shame Shame Sham. angry

There you have it,, govt with 100% privileges and zero fiscal responsibility, you dont hear them talking about cutting their expenses, but they expect impoverished masses and business to cut their expenses. They borrow trillion for roads and infrastructure but how many have we seen since 2015, apart from the Onitsha foot bridge?
