And I used to think Tinubu has a little opponent in Atiku. As in Atiku will put up a little fight.

Honestly, the political weight of the 2023 presidential aspirants is not balanced. Tinubu is just too big for the rest of them.

Anyway, na him luck, but he shouldn't expect this same walkover in 2027, though I know by then, his power of incumbency will still place him at advantage.

APC combined their northwest rally in one venue and still failed to get it filled by 40%, PDP fills up the stadium in each northwest state by 70% at least.

Yet you lots compare, I can't wait for February.

Atiku has never really been popular in the North and it hasn’t changed, so the poor turnout isn’t surprising.

Atiku is not popular anywhere.
Tinubu, despite his disgusting records, is still popular among Yoruba Muslims; but Atiku is not popular even in his hometown. He can't be a serious contender. The only value he add to this electioneering period is the noise and propaganda from his fellow clowns in the PDP circus.

If this is true of the stadium crowd at its height, it might be a show of the reception Atiku will receive from the Katsina electorate.

It may also indicate that the 'rented crowd' organizers did a poor job.

Even though this picture is fake, I daresay no politician can amass the kind of popularity Buhari had in the North ever again. It was not a one-off thing. The relationship spanned years since 1999 with heavy brainwashing and propaganda using religion and tribe as a veritable tool. I doubt any politician will be allowed to get away with such again by his peers. The world is too connected and informed than we were in 1999
