Pele is overhyped.

I have checked his stats, he isn't as superb as touted.

His records can't match Messi. I have done a critical analysis of his achievement to modern day star, he tried but not too superb.

Garrincha won the worldcup where Pele couldn't play pass 1 or 2 games yet he was still crowned.

Records for stats, he doesn't meet up. I will write on vanguard soon.

He scored 60% of those goals officially and the rest in tours and exhibitions.

He is good and above his peers at that time but he rode on a good team. He was arguably the face of football at that time. He was very good at his age but then, most games were based in Santos and unofficial games.
