Israeli officials estimate that the obstacles to the hostage release today may be even more problematic than yesterday.

Yesterday's crisis was caused by a gap between what Israel agreed to and what Hamas expected, especially in relation to the number of aid trucks to the northern Gaza Strip.

As Israeli officials explained, this was not due to any obstruction by Israel, but rather logistical issues.

Contrary to reports, the separation of some families did not constitute a violation, due to the fact that Hamas claimed it could not find the mother of one of the freed children (Hila Rotem Shoshani) and the brother of another (Mia Regev). Hamas offered to release elderly women instead, but Israel chose to have the girls released without their family members.

Since Israel does not intend to exceed what it committed to in the agreement, a long and tense day is expected.

The father of 8-year-old Emily, who returned tonight from captivity.

In the first couple of weeks he was informed that she was murdered and said that he is somewhat relieved as she is not going to be tortured and abused in captivity.

Later on good news came about her being in captivity. All that was left for him to say is that he is praying to get to the day he would see her again.

Today his prayers were answered and Emily returned home.

A major and cruel violation of the agreement:

Hamas announces that it was unable to locate the brother of Mia Regev (Itay) and the mother of Hila Rotem Shoshani (Raaya).
The agreement was that family members will not be separated upon return back to israel.

The western hypocrisy and double standard that has always been obvious to folks in the global south is now immutable for people all around the world, there is nothing wrong with war crime so far our client states commit them. Israel can pursue it's "security" by bombing densely populated civilian enclaves and destroying more than 60% of it's housing but Russia must tolerate a hostile state right on it's borders. Bullsh*t

So who is Israel releasing in order to bring back innocent civilians, children and grandmothers who were kidnapped into The Gaza strip, here are some of them:

Aisha Afghani from Silwan. Afghani was arrested in 2016 after attempting to carry out a stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem. She was later sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Another terrorist who was released is Mason Musa from Bethlehem, who in 2015 carried out a stabbing attack on a female soldier who was 20 years old at the time - who was seriously injured.

Musa was sentenced to 15 years in prison, and in her Shin Bet interrogation she said she came to the crossing to kill

The Defense Ministry announces that during operations in the Gaza Strip, forces seized some NIS 5 million in cash, along with Iraqi dinar, Jordanian dinar, and US dollars, from Hamas strongholds and homes of operatives.

The money will be forfeited for the state.

IDF:
“My dog gave me the signal - get back!”: Footage of the Oketz (K-9) handlers and dogs in combat prior to operational pause

Since the beginning of the fighting, Oketz (K-9) Unit fighters and dogs from the Marom Special Operations Brigade exposed approximately 50 booby-trapped explosive devices and dozens of weapons stockpiles.

Female combat soldiers from the unit have played a significant role in supporting the efforts to locate findings regarding the Israeli hostages held captive in the Gaza Strip.

As part of their unit's activities, Oketz (K-9) soldiers and dogs discovered explosives in a room at the Rantisi hospital, as well as a weapons stockpile.

In another activity, one of the unit's dogs located a barrel of explosives set to harm arriving forces.

Four dogs that fought alongside the troops were killed in combat while defending the soldiers in the Gaza Strip. They will be buried in the unit’s cemetery according to protocol.

In the IDF strikes in the Gaza Strip, the senior officials Ahmed Ahandor, Eyal Regev, Raifat Silman, and Ayman Siam (including the North Gaza Brigade and the head of the rocket array) were killed.

It is being overshadowed by the situation in Gaza, but the IDF has been operating at a level not seen in decades against the terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria, what the world calls the "West Bank."

Large-scale raids every week, some often on a daily basis against terrorist strongholds in Palestinian cities across the region.

Dozens of wanted terrorists have been eliminated, and over 2,000 have been arrested.

The goal is to destroy Hamas as a terrorist threat both in Gaza and the biblical heartland.

I know it's harder still that they can't get back at Hamas. But it'll do your mental health a lot of good if you stop manufacturing excuses for them and accept the IDF is only strong when they see kids throwing stones or sick people.

Btw, have you seen the protests since yesterday in Tel Aviv calling for failed Satanyahu to resign for achieving nothing in 5 weeks except more hate of the terrorist state?

What soldier goes to war without knowing he's undertaking a life or death risk? IDF knew beforehand that the ground assault campaign would lead to losses to a certain degree. But they have an agenda: to suppress and eliminate Hamas terrorists. God so kind, they're close to completing their mission. We're seeing video and pictorial evidences of their accomplishments and we're happy.

Only resident terrorists like you choose to believe otherwise. Keep sunbathing in your delusions until the day you hear Hamas is no more.
