Palestinian terrorists fired mortar shells at a pier that is being constructed by U.S. forces to bring aid into Gaza The mortar attack occurred as United Nations officials were touring the site with Israeli troops on the coast of central Gaza, the IDF says in response to a query on the incident. The IDF says the UN officials were rushed to a shelter by troops amid the attack. A Hamas official told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the militant group will resist any foreign military presence involved with the port project.

IDF soldiers thwarted an attempted attack on the Makuch farm in the Binyamin region The IDF forces recently arrested two terrorists who arrived at the farm in Binyamin with one of them holding an ax with the intention of carrying out an attack in the area. After searches of their vehicle, additional axes and knives were found. The terrorists and the weapons were transferred to the security forces for further treatment. 1 Like

The effects of Iran’s attack on Israel can still be seen weeks after it occurred. Earlier today, our troops removed the debris of a surface-to-surface missile intercepted during the Iranian attack. At the beginning of the week, the debris was found by hikers in southern Israel. A complex removal, the process was made possible through advanced preparation by the Home Front Command and assistance from the IAF. During the process, the missile debris was cleared of hazardous materials.

The IDF continues to speed up the preparations for the operation in Rafah: Two battalions from the paratrooper brigade, which were in operational employment in the Gaza Envelope in recent months - were replaced by other battalions, so that they could prepare for an attack in Rafah. These are battalions 890 and 101, which were stationed in the border area in Otef, but now they have been transferred to training and increasing their competence, in preparation for the expected attack on Rafah. If indeed the operation in Rafah goes ahead as planned, the IDF is expected to go there with large regular forces. Amir T
