Traders @ the popular railway market had their temporary business space (batcher and unauthorised block built shops) destroyed.

This is not the first time that area has come under demolition. Besides, they were warned to vacate that area before action was eventually taken.

This has nothing to do with the Igbos. Nobody is allowed to build a shop by the railway.

If what you said is true why would the interviewees say they werent given a notice?

No SANE govt would want to destroy traders wares in a Gestapo like manner without pre-notification.

One thing about these traders is, to an extent they are obstinate. They don't heed to warning and most times, some market leaders don't even tell their comrades the truth about gov't stance regarding their business environment.

This is why these traders end up having their wares destroyed in the process of demolishing unauthorised buildings by govt agency.

They were warned to vacate that area before action was taken.
