For the first time in Nigeria's history, a Presidential candidate is a real contender to win, without being a member of a major political party.

Would Osinbajo have Succeeded if he decamped to a different party, the moment it became obvious that his Principal was not going to support his Presidential ambition?

Absolutely not. What would he have campaigned on?

If you can't do much as number 2, then you don't deserve number 1.

Just like Ambode, i think Yoruba culture of subservience keep them in a place even when its not favorable. Osinbajo would have been a strong contender like Obi but he was not daring enough.

Bubu's body language was clear when he refused to endorse him so why couldn't he decamp rather than to be humiliated?

Wike wanted to ridicule Obi but who's crying now?

Even Ambode

Peter Obi will set examples for others, that they can succeed without the two big parties
