The CCP is an atheist party. All its members take the status of atheists. The Government is atheist and suppress religion in the state to bring unity and produce forward thinking people even in rural areas. For instance they're planning to rewrite the Bible. They've kept Uighur Muslims in concentration camps for decades- feed them pork and make them blaspheme. Can you keep Muslims in camps in Nigeria or India to make them have sense?

What the Chinese Government says stands. The regulate everything from how much citizens can access international media to the number of children a citizen can have.

China is a one-party undemocratic communist republic where a supreme leader makes decisions without being questioned. It was why Mao Zedong was able to starve tens of millions to death with his policies to register the plans of the CCP.

I've always compared India to Nigeria although Indians are more disciplined than Nigerians.

Visit all the firms in a random boulevard at Silicon Valley, 8 out of 10 will be managed by Indians. Most heads of Fortune 500 companies are Indians. They dominate medical practice in many Western Countries. India's generation Z outperform Western students in STEM courses in IVY leagues.

An Indian is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and many Indians have prominent roles in US, UK and Canadian governments.

Visit Mumbai in India and all you see is a "dirtier Lagos" . The bulk of Indians live in poverty and cannot afford the basic necessities of life. Those in rural communities in India have it worse.

It isn't political corruption. India's Prime minister, Narendra Modi has no child. He is a divorcee for decades with only books and writings to his name. When he dies, he will be cremated and his ashes may be thrown into water. Atal Vajpayee had no biological child too. So the argument of stolen resources cannot be logically raised.

Like Nigeria, India is still buried in religious superstition.
Like Nigeria, India has a worse tribalistic and caste system.
Like Nigeria, half of India has not been penetrated by rational thinking.
Like Nigeria, the part of India near Pakistan is home to some of the most vicious islamists on the planet.

The best we can have are people with a Messiah complex who build cult followings during election periods in Nigeria. The very fact that millions of people believe that a messiah can make this system evolve in a couple of years is the very proof that we're still far from that Utopian society we envisage.

Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium and UAE are heavens on Earth. However, they are not as powerful nor do they have more USD billionaires than India combined.

The richest black men in the Planet can only be Nigerians.

Nigeria is the India of Africa. Nigerians will always excel at home and abroad.

If you love yourself as a Nigerian grin, work diligently for a better life and you will lift your name, your family and Nigeria wherever you find yourself. That's what the intelligent Indians do. That's what the few intelligent Nigerians do.

We will only experience a beautiful environment with an amazing system when the bulk of Nigerians have more developed patterns of thinking than the early men.

This is easily the most brutally honest and beautiful thing I have read in a while now!

You should publish and post this to a wider audience please!

The problem isn't that Nigerians are suffering, the problem is that Nigerians love suffering and when someone loves something it would be difficult to pull them out.

Nigerians love suffering, and love those that made them suffer that's why they're reenforcing themselves to vote APC next month even though most of them cannot afford one meal a day.

This I have seen.

Oga, you are deviating from your self serving point, this is not about religion. UAE, Saudi Arabia, Italy are very religious countries and they are not doing bad, but that is not even the point here.

You claim Nigerians should work and help themselves the way Indians are doing all over the world and stop relying on the government to help them or change their situation.

I am here to tell you that it is good in itself but it is a self serving narrative if we do not hold our goverment accountable and ensure that they do the right thing and also blame them when we are supposed to, India used to be extremely corrupt, thought still corrupt to a certain level, but they are beginning to change that, that contributed a lot to their poverty level, China was also corrupt at some point but they had to take draconian laws against corruption and look at where they are compared to India that didn't, now compare India and Nigeria, India is now ahead of Nigeria because corruption has been decreasing in India and increasing in Nigeria.

The question is do we sit down and just say let us leave the government and be working for ourselves out of poverty and leave the government to keep stealing and destroying the environment were we work.

The story of the doctor or so that retired from America and came back to farm in Ogun state was killed in his farm by bandits, would you blame him or the government for coming to create jobs and provide food in his own country.

When someone like Omotola is complaining about bad governance, it is not about her or what she wil benefit, she is living fine, what about others, the reason why the country is where it is today is because of this same self serving mindset peope use to do things in Nigeria, once someone can get himself and family out of poverty, he cares about no one, same mindset they take into governance and public offices, it is now so normal that the government now treats the people anyhow and they know that nobody within any capacity will challenge them.

That is why I called it a self serving narrative because in the long run whatever happens to your neighbor who is unsafe might also affect you who think you are safe because you did not make any effort to protect him when you had the capacity to.

This is not about helping everybody, but we must try to ensure our government live up to their responsibilities for everyone, rich or poor...

Both the rich and poor are suffering for insecurity and bad roads in the country so why should someone think it is all about making money and been successful without holding the government accountable....

This one is different celebrity, she says the truth.
Otherwise, become a Nigerian celebrity, or be appointed by Nigeria government to any office abroad or in any international organization, see that Nigerian talk about Nigeria to the world as if Nigeria is a bed of roses.

Watching the Nigerian lady presenter on Al Jazeera today talk with two other ladies about Africa's capacity to produce vaccine, and watching the two Nigerians on the show mouthing the capacity of Nigeria, a stranger would not know that Nigeria is not even capable of refining crude oil, can't generate enough electricity for its needs, and harbours the largest number of poor people on earth.

The truth is that many nigerians are too naive about societal complexities. Many have no clue on anything great. If you want to help Nigerians with all your passion and means, dem go gada, suck you dry, sabotage your intentions, cun dey call you mugu. Forgetting they are the complete mugus wey destroy their destiny due to small selfish glory. That is why, the FG, sg, lg, fake traditional rulers, ministers, etc all steal the treasury in front of everyone, then sell us unseen mansions in the sky, without any questions. Look at the new port in lekki, they borrowed money, took enough of it, and built a hut. Same as the new railway, they borrow, built basic, and pocketed more than the project money.

* one thing about that railway, they built passenger trains, but not freight train. I mean, wouldn't it make sense to build freight for national commerce, that can also assist in food accessibilty and security, etc. In America,
since late 1800s, freight trains have helped developed the nation. Underground or overground. Freight trains have helped any industrialized country today. But nigeria went for people train, so that we can form like we already have a successful foundation. We lack foresight in all corners of the society. It is shameful.

They import passenger trains in areas of Nigeria they found favour with furnished with rail lines, but ignore goods trains.
The same way they build roads but ignore supply of treated pipe borne water.
Issue is the value systems and living standards in Arewa north of Nigeria that largely determines the direction of Nigeria through its undue political overrepresentation in all the departments of Nigeria's government, irrespective of where the president comes from.
