The law is the law . The electoral act law declares cancel the polling unit. If appeal filed within 90days nor sail , there is provision in the law for supplementary rerun elections in all affected cancelled poll units.

Over votes cannot keep repeating over and over again.Bear in mind that the tribunal is not disputing overvoting or rigging in elections already conducted in at least 70% of the polling units in the state. The incumbent and opposition are not disputing overvoting/rigging in elections conducted at majority of the polling stations.
The polling units under dispute (like Ede and ifire, etc notable pdp strongholds ,) represent a paltry 30% .

Osun has 332 wards and 3763 polling units and the polling units were overvoting occured is approximately about 1000 or less. All warring parties have already rescrutinised and reanalysed the other 2k, 700 units with tourchlight and both parties agree it was free and fair in about 2k,700.
So if a rerun is ordered , better scrutiny, ramped up security, doubled up monitoring, will be on ground to ensure a seamless free and fair transmission of results in the lk polling units or lesser.
Otherwise, if overvoting reoccurs and keep reoccuring, lNEC will be deemed grossly incompetent, incredible and untrustworthy of entrusting the presidential elections with.

Overvoting amounts to rigging and corruption. Money and resources and time spent in ensuring a just and fair rerun is not waste. The other 2k plus units were relative electoral sanity was upheld, do they have two heads?
We Should be talking of investigating and Prosecuting the lackadaisical lNEC chief administrators in charge of those polling units and relieve them of their duties.

Deduct what exactly? And exonerate corruption and aberrate justice? Even if it’s just a tiny faucet of corruption detected , provable beyond reasonable doubts; even if it’s just one single over vote detected; & the over vote/rigging can be explicitly proven beyond reasonable doubts in a court of law; The polling units is null and void before the law and the constitution.

No excuse for corruption and rigging. Even if it’s just one overvote, results from that polling unit cannot be trusted. PERIOD!

BVAS and electronic voting system eliminates the problem of votes duplicity and overvotes. Electronic voting systems have mechanisms to prevent overvoting.

Notice how the 749 null and void polling units under hot dispute are the polling units where BVAS was not deployed.
