Osun Appeal by Respondents will Fail - Sam Amadi

More than Buga Won

I have read through the judgment of the majority & minority in d Osun Gov case. It’s more than Buga.

It will be difficult to impeach it on appeal. The minority argument is not convincing and issuperficial.

Sad that judges, not voters, keep picking winners

Seen Joel visit. The guy is trying... At least he's campaigning well and meeting relevant people.
Eno will still scale through the legal tussle, infact he is campaigning at the moment not in any way fazed.

The primary evidence is the instrument and report of accreditation. It is so fundamental to our election success story. Anyone who votes without accreditation endangered his voting centre.

HE means Adeleke will fail on appeal at the Supreme court because the majority Judges made clear, detailed and convincing analysis on the Judgement while the monority judgement made a superficial analysis.

Does the electoral act say that in the event of over voting , the votes in that locality should be cancelled and the votes deducted? Where does the court derive that power? What if the votes were for a party like AA?

Cancellation was in order because it is difficult to establish which of the votes is overvote given that the votes would most likely belong to more than one Party.

The Tribunals derives its power for cancellation for Section 136 sub section 3 of the 2022 electoral Act as attached.

Did you read the judgment or you just rely on nairalanders and their emotional comments? INEC made a real mistake. INEC can't appeal because it was faulty.

I read the judgement. BVAS should have been examined not the report because there are two conflicting reports.

That's more reason why the BVAS should be the basis of the judgement.

in the section 51 of the Amendment electoral that was been signed by Buhari in February 2022, the court must not cancel the votes, what the justice in the tribunal should do is to declare rerun in the alleged over voting polling units. Pdp said there are 6 polling units where over voting took place in the last year July 16th governorship Election 🗳

Inec will appeal their case in the Appeal court next month when Pdp filed their appeal case too. Inec will have to substantiate the second Bvas synchronisation reports which covers the whole polling units in Osun State
