Nigerians will be happy to have him, unlike Thiefnubuu who privatized almost all the units in LASUTH, he made the public medical laboratory in LASUTH, starved it of funds and opened a private lab named Bola Tinubu (BT) diagnostics on the same premises, and diverted patients their. He also privatized the Pharmacy unit, starving the hospital pharmacy of drugs and diverting patients to his 'Fee paying pharmacy' on the same premises.
Accident and Emergency unit nko? He holistically privatized that one, go their and see how they bill patients in LASUTH, the if your relative dies in their hands, the you pay through your nose when the body is taken to hospital mortuary which he also privatized 'Pathology center'.

He built many nursing schools in Anambra. I think there is one at Nkpor and Ihiala.

Another major achievement was building of the medical center at Anaku.

Another was building the permanent site of Anambra state university.

In fact, some of my educated Anambra elder in the states are just learning Mater Amabilis sec school is one of the best public secondary school in Nigeria which was rescued by Obi. Today , Mater Amabilis whose principal is my friend is better than many good schools in the states
