It should be rarely seen so that when you want to go and buy something worth 500k and seller requires cash, you will need ghana must go bag to carry the money and push it around inside market with wheelbarrow like they do in Somalia....

Lol
The only way those small denominations can be convenient to move freely is when things drastically drop....

I hope the goal of this is achieved.
Rumour has it tinibu already bought all the new notes hence the scarcity.

Like on of my useless banks yesterday couldn’t give me cash.
Had to use my keystone back and they couldn’t give each customer more than N5000 in N100 denomination. ATM same thing.

If after all these sufferings, the aim is defeated….men go find emefiele oh

There is a video of a farmer spraying the new note LAST year at a Friend's wedding, so am sure connected men like Tinubu has already exchanged his note... Tinubu can donate 50 million naira consistently so am sure he can invest less than 10 million naira to secure his old notes... He also have businesses that he can launder the money through (even through the businesses of his loyalists).

CBN claims one trillion naira of the old notes has not yet been collected by them.

Buhari is not ready for election.

Initially they tried Fulani herdsmen- failed

They tried forcing their way at the primaries- failed

They are working on fuel scarcity to discredit and undermine their own presidential candidate few days to a general election.

If Buhari was on the ballot will he begin these populace suppression policies? NO! It’s glaring the enemy is within…. Not the noisemakers we were suspecting.

A new strategy will be unveiled and Buhari and his cabal will be put to shame.

The only sensible comment. Others applauding CBN are bunch of confused fools. Is this how Goodluck Jonathan made life unbearable for Nigerians during presidential election? They should ask themselves

It is because the 5 naira 10 naira etc have lost their values and there is nothing special the government is doing to make sure our currency goes up in value

Why do nigerians have to suffer because emefiele wants to implement a policy?

Where did you hear your Rumour that tinibu already bought all the new notes hence the scarcity? Can you provide evidence?

CBN are out of tune with realities.

CBN has already led the Masses down and unfortunately, 'the trust' in the Banking is gone through the governor!
A visit to different banks today was chaotic and the people are warped,so why this suffering because of inability to exchange their Money?
Somethings can only happen in Nigeria, like CBN governor being a once Presidential Candidate!
So we all know where the pendulum is pointing to!
Emiefile met our Naira N174 to a dollar but now N720 plus!
Let be sincere as Citizens of a Nation,Is that a good performance ?

Well, it's good but it will only make our country like that of Somalia, imagine going to market to buy groceries that worth 200k from market sellers and you're going to market with cash of 200k in 50naira denominations, wouldn't that be too much to carry...

He's trying to enforce cashless but it just can't work in country like Nigeria, our network isn't stable for cashless policy...

That is why transfer is there for large transactions.

How do you think people spend money in britain?
