Tell me any day in Nigeria that people don't suffer since this APC government came into power? Or are you people now the spokespersons of the suffering population? Did you people speak when many families were murdered by heardsmen and terrorists? Or is this particular suffering different from a townhall different from Bala blu bulaba? Nonsense!

Which of the money? Are you talking about the over #3tr printed, yet, only #500b where in circulation? So, where did the other #2.5tr enter if not in the houses of politicians.

Well, in this fight, if the CBN loses, Nigerians will be the biggest losers as politicians will always be politicians. Only what favours them is what they do. Nothing more or less

The international world will take Buhari as a rogue president if he does that. Then there will be anarchy..

No wonder Elrufai told Kaduna residents to keep spending the old note

You don't know about banking policy

Are you sure you are in Nigeria? Are you seeing the sufferings people are going through because of this new naira notes that is scarce? Or can I say that you are completely devoid of empathy? If you are not affected, several millions are and it is already leading to civil unrest. Must people always suffer severely because of a policy that is even counter productive? Please, say something else.

See, CSOs are supposed to be on the side of the people and the only people that are suffering right now are the same people they love to claim as their driving force for change and good governance so why are they now not in ending the sufferings the general public is going through.?

I'm I missing something here?

Even if your intentions are genuine and you'd love to deal with election riggers, but the election riggers are not suffering, they are not the average Nigerians shouting and protesting, lining up and fighting in bank halls, lining up for endless hours in front of ATMs?

I'd understand if their are enough new notes out their and the ATMs are dispensing the new notes, but such is not the case so why exactly do you want Nigerians to keep suffering all because of politics?

Shouldn't your fight be against the CBN that got us into this mess to start with? Is it the CBN's fault this this policy is poorly and incompetently managed?

Even the CBN's deadly remains unsustainable and unrealistic, it just can not be done at the moment so isn't it prudent to adjust and prevent mass sufferings and economic collapse?

This is a sad refection of the typical fraudulent Nigerian mentality, they are out there shouting and wailing that Nigerians are suffering because of the new note, they are showing us pictures and videos of disasters in banking halls, bit the same Nigerians want their suffering to continue because in their misguided mind, they are hurting the politicians when in fact the politicians have access to the new notes that they don't have.

Well, they CSO crowd are part of our political system and a reelection of our cash and carry fake patriotism.

Please, can you State two reasons why you said the CBN deadline is unrealistic?

The deadline won't change.

Neither CBN or the commercial banks was joined as parties to this suit. The 3 state governments simply took advantage of the fact that in matters purely between the state and the FG the supreme court can serve as a court of first and only instance.

Joining CBN in the matter would immediately rob the supreme court of jurisdiction. Sadly, the attorney general cannot issue a binding order on the CBN governor, the CBN act didn't contemplate such and the interim order is simply an academic attempt at grandstanding.

They're indeed forces determined to derail the forthcoming elections and trigger social unrest. If your ATM card is working go to any large supermarket and stock up. The next 3 weeks are exciting times to come.

I forgot to add that only CBN is empowered by law to determine what is termed legal tender. As for this set of JSCs, they've taken judicial rascality to the high heavens. One day soon we will put the searchlight on how supreme these odoriferous judges have become.

I thought we should be calling for the sack of the CNN governor who has exhibited gross incompetence because of naira swap.

Though the intention is good but it was mismanaged. Must Nigerians continue to suffer because of policies that are counter productive. I doubt if you are in this country.

Is money not flowing? Throughout this week, I've not bought airtime via paper but bank transfer. Buying fuel, POS, for groceries, enter the mall and use your 🏧.

The little cash at hand you need for this few period is also available in the #100 notes which isn't affected by the policies. I have close to #1000 on me now and all are #50 and #100

What about the money the CBN gave banks and they sold it out, diverted some and the politicians hijacked the others. Sterling bank in Abuja kept and refuse to give out over #200m given to them. Is that CBN's fault too

The supreme court is really outside their jurisdiction on this...What this means is that one day,the supreme court can rule that stones can be used as legal tender in the event that some stupid people petition against paper naira...Since when can the courts dabble in fiscal matters that is the exclusive function of the bank of all banks in Nigeria?APC has really made a mockery of the judicial system & the useless supreme court justices are even helping them to do so.

No need for all that the ruling is not binding on CBN .. CBN is not a party to the suit.. The policy is being formulated by CBN an independent organ separate and distinct from FG. the injunction is against FG .. stupid jokers lawyers don chop their money..

The party to be sued was supposed to be CBN and not FG.. feb 10 remains

No need for english .. the injunction is dead on arrival.. The injunction is against FG .. Not CBN .. CBN is the one implementing the naira redesign policy not FG .. any suit against it should be against CBN.. the order is misplaced .. and dead on arrival.. in any case if they want to sue CBN they have to go to federal.high court.. those justices lost its basic jurisprudence..You cant levy a court order by proxy or on a entity not party to a suit.. supreme court failed .. corruption failed executive order is too much.. they need to go back to lawshcool

Don't mind all these illiterates who have been responding to you.

The president is not a king nor is he a dictator. He cannot override any Court judgement talk more of the Apex Court. Only a higher Court can revoke a lower Court's judgement. The supreme Court is the top Court and the final stop.

The supreme Court can even revoke a presidential order. One of Buhari's orders around 2020 then was revoked by the supreme Court.

Actually the Nigerian president is more than king he is the most powerful president is any democracy across the world.. thanks to your 1999 constitution .. he can issue an executive order to stop it..constitution give him that power.. but its not necessary in this case.. the injunction by supreme court is dead dead ab initio cos it was issued against FG and Not CBN.. CBN is the entity implementing the policy and any suit in that regards should commence at fedhigh court and should be against CBN not Fg the ruling is not binding on CBN.. the policy stands .. checkmate..they celebrated too early .. law is an ass..
