Deltans fume as copies of loan applications forwarded from the Delta State Governor’s office to the House of Assembly for approval surfaced online.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has been making series of loan applications that are speedily approved by the Sheriff Oborevwori led House of Assembly.

The loan applications to the tune of One hundred and twenty billion have Premium Trust 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝, Fidelity Bank and other unnamed participating banks as the lender after changing Zenith Bank as the lead arranger.

One of the applications addressed to the speaker for the loan facility disclosed an interest rate of 21% per annum for a three year tenor and a 1% management fee upfront.
