It’s clear that to be returned elected, a Presidential Candidate has to score the Highest Votes with at least 25 percent in 24 states and the FCT.

The key word there is and the FCT, as it has become clear that even if Tinubu scores 25% in 24 States (which is debatable), he will almost certainly not score 25% in FCT and can therefore not be returned.

The Campaign of APC in Abuja yesterday night further enhanced that fact as the APC struggled to fill a quarter of a 5000 Capacity Eagles square at the Nations capital.

Last I checked, neither INEC nor the Supreme Court has clarified Section 134 of the 1999 Constitution.

That’s why a Legal Guru like Olisa Agbakoba recently approached the Supreme Court for an Interpretation.
