At least Obi has never been accused of stealing Anambra money. Chimaroke has been accused of stealing Enugu money, arrested by EFCC charged with the crime in court and he went into plea bargaining that saw him forfeit some of his ill gotten properties. That's why people scream "Onye Oshi" (thief) at the mention of his name.
Anambra people love Peter Obi because he was good to them even Soludo as it is is yet to earn such love .

He was not attacked for his choice but for being a looter. A church rat who came back from America and was helped to power by Jim Nwobodo suddenly became one of the richest politicians in SE while his people are suffering.
Ike Ekweremmadu got similar treatment few years ago while there was no election. So in SE if you are a politician that refuses to do well, you go certainly collect.
