JOB ROLE: DATA ANALYST
LOCATION: IBADAN

An award-winning leader in the publishing industry of Nigerian Educational sector with Corporate Head office located in Ibadan is recruiting for a highly qualified data analyst with in-depth knowledge of statistical data analysis and interpretation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Applicant must be able to Extract and organize raw data.
• Develop and implement data collecting strategies.
• Identify, analyse and interpret data trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical modelling software which can assist the
management to prioritize business needs.
• Create spreadsheets and data analysis reports.
• Monitor and maintain data sources as well as diagnose or troubleshoot issues on data.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies for data extraction and analysis.
• Evaluate the success of business decisions based on data trends.
• Organize and create catalogues for large streams of data collected on site.
• Present data reports to the departmental Head, the managers and stakeholders as may be required.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, or any related course.
• 3+ years' experience as a statistical analyst with in-depth knowledge of statistical data modelling software.
• Experience with data visualization tools such Power BI, Tableau etc. and good knowledge of data mining and scrubbing.
• Ability to spot data trends and pay attention to details.
• Excellent report writing skills with good communication and interpersonal skills.
