The joke is on you and Buhari , a president who can't read the pause of the nation.

The old 1k and 500 are more in circulation before now.All Atms only pay 1k and very few pay 500.

So where do we get the 200?

Nigerians are about to knock sense into that old fool. The revolt will start from his State.
Emefiele is on a vendetta but Buhari is too senile to see it

I spent the old 500 naira note on my way back from work. I believe people would continue to spend it either CBN likes it or not. Yes it might not be a legal tender to CBN and banks but it would be a legal tender to those who actually spend the money.

Whether Atiku, Obi or Tinubu, whomever emerges as president will create a window for people to return their old notes. No sane president will ask you to go and throw your money away. Your money will only be tied down till then. Knowing this, I still don't give or take old notes. I can't come and be giving myself unnecessary anxiety.
