Any bullion van looters and corrupt politicians that thinks the prayers for better Nigeria will not work should shamelessly accept that gone are the days where vote buying and looters call the short on who win elections . If president Buhari can achieve this his welcome policy with better implementation,it will be few good policies he initiated in his tenure.

In line with Section 20(3) of the CBN Act 2007, all existing old N1000 and N500 notes remain redeemable at the CBN and designated points.
Tinubu, Gandollar, El-Rufai in the mud again. Now, Tinubu, all these criminal governors, all their urchins and miscreants can go to hell.

They were never on the side of the masses for the past 8 years. Suddenly a currency swap turned them to overnight patriots because their looted monies stashed outside the banks are being threatened. This present leadership of the Supreme Court have gone down in ignominy.

Yes yes
Listen to radio this morning
It is official
Only 200 naira note is allowed as legal tender

500 and 1000 naira note can not be used anymore

Buhari say vote any candidates of your choice

Don't be scared security will be provided

I love what Buhari is doing

If this is the only thing he can be remembered for
Please also ensure dss, efcc, well trained police and icpc all scattered around polling unit that day

Buhari say As of October 2022, therefore, currency in circulation had risen to N3.23 trillion; out of which only N500 billion was within the Banking System while N2.7 trillion remained permanently outside the system; thereby distorting the financial policy and efficient management of inflation

Yes yes yes....if this is the only thing Buhari will do for us

We all must go out of our convenient zone to make this country work please 🙏 for posterities

ONLY THE OLD N200 NOTE REMAIN LEGAL TENDER

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the validity of the old N200 notes till April 10, 2023.

The president announced this in a national broadcast on Thursday Monday.

“I am addressing you as your democratically elected president to sympathise with you over the hardship being experienced as a result of the naira redesign policy.”

“To further ease the supply pressures particularly to our citizens, I have given approval to the CBN that the old N200 bank notes be released back into circulation and that it should also be allowed to circulate as legal tender with the new N200, N500, and N1000 banknotes for 60 days from February 10, 2023 to April 10 2023 when the old N200 notes ceases to be legal tender.”

“17. In line with Section 20(3) of the CBN Act 2007, all existing old N1000 and N500 notes remain redeemable at the CBN and designated points.
“Considering the health of our economy and the legacy we must bequeath to the next administration and future generations of Nigerians, I admonish every citizen to strive harder to make their deposits by taking advantage of the platforms and windows being provided by the CBN.”

Nigerians have been battling with the scarcity of new naira notes— a development that has led to queues at banking halls, and automated teller machine (ATM) points.

There have been protests in some parts of the country due to the scarcity of new naira notes.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had given a deadline of January 31 for the use of old naira notes — but it extended it to February 10.

On February 8, the supreme court temporarily restrained the federal government from banning the use of the old naira notes from February 10, 2023, pending the hearing of the matter on February 15.

Despite the court’s order, Emefiele insisted on the deadline.

The stance of the CBN governor has triggered confusion as filling stations, supermarkets, and other business owners have continued to reject the old naira notes.

On Wednesday, there were protests across the country as banks were destroyed while security operatives reportedly gunned down some persons in Edo State.

Among states were there was crisis are Oyo, Ondo, Kwara, Edo, Benue and Delta.

There are indications that the president would address the issue of the naira scarcity in his speech to Nigerians as against statements issued by his media team.

The president usually address the nation on occasions like Independence Day, Democracy Day, and a few others.

If Buhari was serious with vote buying, he would have started in 2019 when the vice president was in markets in major cities sharing trader moni. I hate hypocrisy.
The old 200 notes would still find their way to the politicians while the ordinary masses continue in their Lamentations.

APC and CBN actually made a mistake by making a new ₦200 design. That party is so about mistakes.
They said GEJ economy is bad but they ending are giving us the worst economy ever, They said no fuel subsidy, but now, subsidy itself is hanging on their neck, they said Abacha is not a thief but ended up spending recovered Abacha loots,
They said the future belongs to the youths but ended up presenting an old candidate......

Emefiele is the presidency.

All Emefiele’s talking points.

Now, when the people resist, there will be a breakdown and the elections won’t hold as scheduled.

This does not serve some of the candidates and so, they will ensure otherwise.

If Nigerians protest, they will not only be resisted by the country’s security apparatus, even Oluomo would help to quell such protests.

In April 2022, Pastor Adeboye did say that the 2023 election might not hold.

Buhari simply seperated the masses from the looters. 200 will ease the pains of the masses and help drive small transactions. 1000 and 500 naira notes stashed by Tinubu and governors for this election remains a tissue paper.

No more bullion van

Vote buying apart because this can't even stop vote buying, he's so deaf to the suffering of the masses concerning the scarcity of Naira.
Very stubborn as a President.
People are angry and ready to direct that aggression on APC candidate, Tinubu.
Buhari didn't mean well for APC angry
Racoon:

Suffering and smiling.
They're Among those Nigerians protesting naira scarcity right?
No matter how sensible, reasonable and justified an issue is, once it's supported by anything close to Tinubu, you all Brainwashed Obi supporters will go against it even at your detriment.

It'll be dawn on you when you queue for hours to get #2000 under hot sun.

Sincerely,I am loving this game of chess but it is affecting Nigerians negatively.
