Is The President Higher Than The Supreme Court ? by Benesis: 7:34am On Feb 17, 2023
It's great when we are so particular and want to kill a rat, and in the height of our emotion, we set fire to the whole house, and declare it a mission accomplished, the moment the feel the rat is incapacitated.
It's at night thant we realize what we did.

What if the court declared a governor as having won and the president comes on tv and declares something contrary ?

What if the next President comes and then rides on the Precedent, and then contravenes every declaration of the supreme court ?

So what if in Imo, Zamfara, Bayelsa, the supreme court gave judgement and the governor's came on broadcast and gave something contrary ?

It's shameful that some lawyers are in support of this, the constitution is the grundnorm and it gives the supreme court final decision above every other body, except an enacted law.

But it's ok and find, finally politicians can't buy votes, it's ok even if we can't buy food either, and can't move out of the house as well. It's ok even when election is a week from now, we will all suffer, so far the rat is dead.

The Nigeria SC lost its credibility on the day it made itself INEC, counted ballot and declare Hope Uzodinma as Governor of Imo State.

Buhari has been flouting Court Orders and nothing happened, so this can't be an exception.

In fact, this one sweet us since it retains the poor man note (₦200) while the Looters Notes (₦500, ₦1000) been killed

It’s not the first time the president is disobeying court order Nigerians should be used to the kind of president/leadership we have right now. I just hope that we would make the right choice in the forthcoming elections.

The best way to prevent vote buying is for Buhari to instruct EFCC, Army and all the security agencies deployed on the election day to arrest anyone holding and sharing cash anywhere near the polling units. They should also ceize their money. That's all.
