A renowned Professor of Economics and former CBN Governor who is occupying the office once occupied by Mr Obi for 8 years of mediocre leadership in Anambra under him, Economist Soludo, has passed a verdict on Mr Obi; he regards Mr Obi as a colossal failure in 8 years reign of Mr Obi as Anambra state Governor.

None of the current or past Governors of Anambra endorsed him and none of them can vouch for him.

Any Economist hyping Mr Obi is like the discredited ANAP 'poll' and should not be taken with seriousness.

The current Governor of Anambra state, Prof Soludo, a Professor of Economics and former Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) Governor, already gave the scorecard of Mr Obi. Soludo said publicly that Anambra state investment that Mr Obi made in the capital market is today worth next to nothing.
The renowned Economist, Prof Soludo stated that Anambra state under Mr Obi took the first position in Nigeria in the democratization of poverty!

Tinubu’s legacy investments are still standing today and yielding huge returns to Lagos state government. He was one of the first state governors to ever use the capital market for raising state bonds, Lagos made huge ROI on its shares in Airtel, Asiwaju initiated the vision that today birthed Lekki Deep Seaport(only deep seaport in Nigeria and largest in West Africa) and Lagos state majority-owned companies like LASACO Plc are doing well in the capital market.

All these manipulation of facts to rewrite history in order to hype Mr Obi will end in 5 days time.when Mr Obi would have been defeated at the polls in a free, fair, transparent and credible election.

The good thing is that his defeat will teach other current and past mediocre governors a lesson: If you do not want to be paying PR guys money to hype you, work very hard in office so that your work will speak for you.
Nigerians will open your record for posterity when you are mediocre in office then come later to contest. No media hype will pull wool over people’s eyes.Serve well. He is wasting his money on sponsored post.smh

Serve excellently like Tinubu served Lagos as Governor for 8 years. Mr Obi and Alhaji Atiku were mediocre in office for 8 years.

Same way you guys hyped and packaged Buhari in 2015. Now, Nigerians have learnt the hard lessons that it was a dummy they were sold. APC should just stay aside like PDP, to learn the basics of how to source good candidates that can move the nation forward.

APC collectively failed and should not be reelected at the center. Executive, Legislative bodies and judiciary are all in limbo doing nothing else but serving the self interest of selected few. This must stop from this Saturday pls.

But this is more than 8 Years of Obi's tenure as the governor of Anambra state and Willi Obiano was the governor in those eight years . If Obiano can not manage what ever that is left for Anambra by his predecessor , the failure can not be attributed to his predecessor . It's will be difficult for a fool that supports a man that licks a microphone when he was asked to test it lol , to understand.

Thank you the Economist.

If Nigerians miss having Peter Obi as the next president of Nigeria, then I will really believe that most Nigerians are not smart. I don't give a demn about tribe or religion in voting for leaders. For instance, if Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu and Professor Yemi Osibanjo are the two major presidential candidate in different party; I will vote for Osibanjo, though I am a Igbo guy.

If you read Peter Obi's manifesto you will know that it is far more practicable than those of Tinubu and Atiku.

Tinubu and Atiku are just making big and bogus promises in their manifestos that anybody can digest are not feasible in the current Nigeria.

Peter Obi focuses on reducing costs of govt and rejigging our manufacturing with agrarian revolution. He also talks more about Nigeria exporting more to the international markets.

When it comes to digging deep on his public service record, it is completely ungodly to attempt to compare or elevate Mr Obi over his former Boss, HE Atiku let alone bring him near Asiwaju Tinubu. Even HE Fashola and Ambode will trump Mr Obi in terms of public service records.

I just want to beg you to stop rewarding with your support those who were mediocre in public service. 3 years from now, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa too will start gunning for Presidency and when he pays the Economist , a foreign newspaper, to do PR and sponsored post for him, you will tell me that they know more. The renowned Economist, Prof Soludo...

Premium Times Nigeria

Okonjo-Iweala attacks Soludo, says he’s Nigeria’s worst CBN governor ever.

The Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Wednesday took the former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Chukwuma Soludo, to the cleaners over his criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan’s management of the country’s economy, saying his comments amounted to committing “intellectual hara-kiri”.

[b]The Minister, who spoke through her Special Adviser on Media, Paul Nwabuikwu, accused Mr. Soludo of single-handedly mismanaging the country’s banking sector between May 2004 and May 2009 and plunging the country into “an incredible accumulation of liabilities that will cost tax payers about N5.67 trillion”.

Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala, apparently livid, described the former CBN governor as “an embittered loser in the Nigerian political space” who is “so derailed” to “commit intellectual harakiri by deliberately misquoting economic facts and maliciously turning statistics on their head to justify a hatchet job”.

“Soludo has shamelessly pandered to so many past leaders that Nigerians are asking one more time – what position is Soludo gunning for now?” she asked.

“There is definitely an issue of character with Prof. Charles Soludo and his desperate search for power and relevance in Nigeria. Nigerians should therefore beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal,” she added.

Seriously, u have no shame. How can a grown up man like you be behaving like an imbecill?
How can you be this heartless? Supporting a renowned drug baron and a thief that foisted the uselessly Buhari on Nigerians. May the Lord have mercy on you. It's because of people like u I have already made up my mind to deactivate my account after Obi wins election. Zombie

You are the main Imbecill. How can you be calling your fellow human being Imbecill, cos of Obi, did Obi now your father.

Asiwaju would have bought votes for as much as N50k per vote if CBN did not stop him.

He wants this presidency so much that he had cash stored in vaults in billions ahead since 2019.

His ambition to be president was why Ambode, a sitting governor, was ousted despite pleas that he should be allowed to complete his second term and a new puppet installed that would aide his ascention to Aso Rock without any question when it comes to reeling out Lagos state funds for it.

The same way he made every candidate in the APC primary looked like nothing is what he planned for this election.

During the primaries, some northern governors were given 1million dollars each. A certain wife of a powerful man also got a new house gift in Dubai worth 5m dollars. Everybody around Buhari was bought.

Even after they had previously agreed with the president for a consensus candidate, Buhari was shocked to see all APC governors suddenly insist on primary elections.

The man bought even Buhari's maids, cleaners and cooks.

That was when Buhari realized that if he allows this man take over from him as president, he will sell Nigeria and turn us all to his slaves.

The man began plotting on how to ensure his money does not get him there and that was how genius Emefiele hinted the president of the strategy of the new notes.

Now for you to carry N10, 000,000, you will need 50,000 pieces of N200 notes, meaning you will need a bullion van.

Bubu show the city boy say him be old soldier... 😂😂🤣

Since then, his partners in crime have been crying like hungry lions.

Buhari locked Dasuki up for almost 4 years against court order, they did not talk. Buhari kept Nnamdi Kanu in detention against court order, they did not talk, Buhari detained El zakzakky against court orders, none of them talked and many more but suddenly they want the same Buhari to obey Supreme Court so that their candidate can buy votes?

Bush meat has now caught the hunter 🤪😄😂
