1. This war could've been prevented. Zelensky, US and its allies sort of wanted this war cos negotiation was on the table but they didn't want that.


2. Putin choosing to Invade Ukraine when he did makes no sense to me, he could've done that in 2014 with the excuse that the then "legitimate" pro-russian government requested for their help like Saudi Arabia did in Bahrain to stop an anti government protests that was getting out of hand.


3. The people who think Ukraine alone can defeat Russia even with the most sophisticated "western" weapon are dellusional. Ukraine is already fighting at full capacity. They've requested for so much money and weapon, still needing more while Russia looks like they're just getting started.



4. Zelensky is a foolish man and the Ukrainian government is not as clean as the west will like you to believe.

The US had to block that by creating military bases in Turkey, out of bilateral relationship sparked by a treaty between Turkey and Greece to be protected by the US. You can look up President Truman's doctrine for insight on those.
Yes, Turkey had, always had a mix of democracy. She had always shown the her lust for democratic values and ideals, rather than communism, after the world war. That was all the US needed to peg NATO's pillars there. I must say her geographic advantage is a huge factor too. Recently Erdoghan has become a pain in the ass for the West, but hey, NATO needs that location as an edge. Turkey has become more autocratic and less democratic under Erdoghan though, but that doesn't rule them out. They have democratic structures and affiliations that they are commited to. Even though they strugle with it. But it's more about Erdoghan than Turkey as a nation. Just like Trump came and Merkel threw up. It's more about the leader now than her system. Turkey in NATO is a controversial topic.

Let me respond to the bolded one by one:

1. The western alliance is not up to 100 not to talk of over. That is a blantant exagerration by you.

2. Your strength as a Nation depends on the Quality of your friends on a global scale. The US invest heavily on its allies, and if attacked, all its allies will rise in unison to defend it. Russia too has alliance with countries like Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

3. Proxy war is allowed. Russia used it against the US in Afghanisan. It is not a new thing.

4. The West do not want to crush Russia, but turn it into a pariah nation, which it is right now. The Westerner's soldiers and serious military assets are not involved. They are toying with Russia and making Russia to deplete its military resources. Do you know how many high grade military resources that Russia has wasted in Ukraine, to the point they have to be begging North Korea and Iran for help.

5. Despite high price of Crude oil last year, Russia economy still contracted by 2.1%. That is the result of the biting sanction. Russia is also forced to sell its oil on the cheap to India and China while spending heavily in the war. Russia is withering before our very eyes, Putin knows, and that is why he became reactionary by suspending START treaty with the US.

6. It is understandable for them to be careful. Russia is a nuclear armed nation. Russia too is careful by not striking any NATO land. When a missile landed in Poland, Russia quickly started explaining that it was not her that shot the missile; that was also being careful because as mad as Putin is, he would not want a direct conflict with NATO that is backed by the United States.

Ps: NATO is not involved in the conflict. Just individual countries that make up NATO are donating firepower to Ukraine.

Lol! This is more than just bowing to a bully. Putin warned severally before the war in Ukraine but he was the lone voice in the wilderness. No one listened to him, on a last ditch effort to avert this the French PM on alliance with the West only fuelled it. If Zelenskiy so loves his people as claimed then he would've avoided the war at all cost. Would you as a president allow the ongoing onslaught in your country? Putin right from the onset knew and has always reiterated in his speeches that the war was against the West and not Ukraine. Both parties regret the war! If Zelenskiy could turn back the hands of time he wouldn't got into the war. Putin on the other hand his expending so much in this war.
