The Nigeria Police Force in Kebbi State arrested three individuals in Warrah town of Ngaski Local Government Area for allegedly possessing N17 million in counterfeit Naira notes. CP Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, the Commissioner of Police in the state, confirmed the arrests and paraded the suspects at the police headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.



According to Kontagora, the suspects were apprehended with the assistance of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) at the Warrah motor park. On January 29, 2023, police personnel stationed at the Warrah Police Station, along with the NURTW, arrested the suspects, who were found to be in possession of N17,000,000 worth of currency notes that were suspected to be fake.
