Tinubu without Anambra already had a 2.5m vote lead against Peter Obi. No way Obi can beat that gap.

Also, Peter Obi did not hit the 25% threshold in 24 states. He only managed it in about 18.

OBI tried on all indices. The feat is achieved mostly on propaganda machineries.

When I first told my mom that Tinubu is contesting for president, I remember how happy she was, according to her, she likes how Lagos state turned out, and would like the entire country to become like it.

Alas, that is but wishful thinking, Nigeria is not Lagos state, and Tinubu is not the same as he was 20 years ago. The excess revenue, zero debt and other favorable conditions Tinubu met in Lagos state is not present in Nigeria today.

Tinubu is the best man for the job, I am so glad he will turn around the fortune of Nigeria.

It is a very close fight for him though, nobody expects such fight from Obi in Lagos, but in all SW and some other parts of Nigeria give him their mandates.

It is a right direction for our country and Africa economy.

We saw more positive market sentiments when Buhari won. In fact, Buhari's body language corrected a few anomalies in the first few weeks/months until the emptiness in him manifested.

International election observers have also condemned the fraudulent election and questioned why INEC delayed in activating the system for upload of results immediately after close of voting.

Tinubu is perceived to be the least market friendly and the market is not likely reacting for a Tinubu win entirely.




“Tinubu, who we perceive as being the least market-friendly of the three main candidates, is currently in the driver’s seat, but it is still early days and the positive reaction in Nigerian credit could indicate that markets think Obi stands a fighting chance,” said Patrick Curran, a senior economist at Tellimer Ltd. “There is likely to be a positive macro policy shift at the margin no matter who wins the election.”
