My humble submission is that the APC candidate won because he forged the more effective alliances all over Nigeria which helped him despite not having majority vote in even his State. This is a lesson we can all learn in our various pursuits and not be blinded by unjustifiable biases.

Good one! This was exactly what I analysed for some of these political neophyte but they refused to understand nor accord appropriate respect to Jagaban.

The truth is that his 'Emilokan' slogan was not a fuse but a well thought out representation of his political chronicles for the presidency.

He earned my respect the day I realized that he was far ahead of his detractors.

He was humble, strategic, ready to lose today for the greater good of tomorrow (did you remember how Oshiomhole was treated as national chairman after delivering Buhari?) and in all, he had his eyes on the goal(to become a president).

To the foolish and idiotic people here who could not see that Tinubu started strategizing for this position the moment he became governor. I'm not a fan of Tinubu but I respect his brilliance strategic mind. He started ACN even after Labour Party and turned it to a big platform. I wrote here last year that Tinubu didn't help because he wanted to help but he helped people just to build alliances, putting people in key positions because he knew he would them to achieve his goal. If Obi and any SE person wants to become president, learn to work with other people, build bridges. For Igbo people that want a president of Igbo origin, ensure you don't practice party discrimination e.g giving PDP 90% votes since 99, don't practice tribalism votes, giving Obi 90% plus votes. Integrate with all parties and be open minded, else you always be disappointed every election period.

For example, Wike, Oshiomhole, Amaechi have a better chance of becoming president before any Igbo as today. Although Soludo has that good too because he's building bridges and working with other. No region can win in Isolation.
