He should quickly handover the mandate to the rightful winner of the election with much ado
He will not be President.
You're delusional, pathetic and gullible!

Zik and Okadigbo will be happy in the grave that an IGBO man won in LAGOS and ABUJA for the first time (and probably the last).

Tinubu has reached out for over 25 years with the Northerners and Obi came out just 8 months ago and you expect to win in Sokoto, Ijebu ode and Ogbomoso
That is laughable !!!

To the Obidients, if you will not build political coalitions, you will remain what you are- a noisy political movement.

OBI is now forming a Failed Alliance with PDP after a bitter electoral loss !

Imagine adding Six million votes for Atiku and PDP if they have merged before the election !!

We know how it would end 😭

Unfortunately, this is what some folks will spend the next four years of their lives doing. All I know is, to those who believe that Tinubu's win will bring prosperity will get it in abundance and to those who believe it will bring suffering, they too will get it in lion shares of abundance.
Just like it happened with Buhari, right?

Those who believed in Buhari's government bought cheap dollars, always have fuel, their children didn't go on strike, they weren't kidnapped etc

While those who didn't believe suffered all what i listed.

This is shallow analysis.

Stocks rose for five days on liklihood of a new president not just because it was tinubu, obi or atiku and on the sixth investors took profits leading to mild decline. Remember these stocks have been locked in a downward spiral since last year. It is only reasonable that investors requiring liquidity take profits on the uptick.

Markets price stocks in advance of an event. So the question is what are they now pricing in if at all? Probably the liklihood of tension in the gubernatorial week.

People don't understand that Nigerians will lose more in this new development. Which investor, having read and find out that the current president of NIGERIA has been indicted severally for corrupt practices without a firm statement to cussion those allegations or facts will bring his/her money to invest in this country? Or winning in a controversial way... Only corrupt investors will do

This is why I want the court to address this abnormally. Put a stop to it by given room for aggrieved parties to prove their argument, otherwise, no investor will come here and the suffering of PMB 8yrs will be a joke

We deserve better...
WHICH OF THE AGGRIEVED PARTIES?
IF, LP CLAIM SHE WIN THE ELECTION AND PDP ALSO CLAIM LIKEWISE.
WHICH PARTY THEN ACTUALLY WIN THE ELECTION BECAUSE WE CAN ONLY HAVE ONE WINNER

basilo102:

Bloomberg said bond. I'm not familiar with these terminologies though

A bond is a debt security, similar to an IOU. Borrowers issue bonds to raise money from investors willing to lend them money for a certain amount of time. When you buy a bond, you are lending to the issuer, which may be a government, municipality, or corporation.

Demand increases price and vice-versa. When bond price increases, it means investors who are 'lenders' believe that the next government coming in will borrow more money so bond price goes up.

It's however not surprising that the bond prices went up on the announcement of Tinubu as the next Nigeria president because of his dispositions on Government borrowing their way out of economic quagmire which was even highlighted in his manifesto.

Many of his supporters celebrated the bond news because they are ignorant of economy.

In summary, considering Nigeria already have 77 trillion naira debt hanging on her neck, it's not a good sign for what is to come.

Something that are highly manipulated in Nigeria.
I can't forget in a hurry what investors faced in 2009 downfall of the stocks even when Okonjo Iweala was the Finance Minister and Soludo as the CBN Gov. if I'm not mistaken.
