Those result sheets where supposed to be uploaded immediately and directly from the various poling units after counting.


Before the INEC chairman announces a result for each state, he is supposed to verify the figures uploaded with the manual submitted.



That's why over a 100 billion were allocated to him for the job.

There are Nigerian lecturers, professors who are far older than the INEC chairman in universities. This lecturers teaches, marks and grades over 1000 students on a particular course. They record this results and also upload them online while they are been paid peanuts.



Now tell me why INEC with all the hundreds of billions with the only task of a credible presidential election could not tally up the figures uploaded by each LGA in Nigeria.

The INEC chairman does not need the uploaded result of the PU for his job. The presidential election has 4 layers before it gets to the National collation centre

Layer 1: Polling unit: Result is announced and pasted after the hard copy of the form EC8A which is the actual result that will be used for collation has been signed by all agents. The result is then uploaded on the IREV portal (for the purpose of transparency and not for the purpose of collation). It is at this layer that any unit where over-voting has been recorded or BVAS bypassed will be cancelled.

Layer 2: The RA collation: The form EC8A is taken to the RA by the Presiding Officer at the PU, he/she may be followed by the security personnel and the agents. At the RA the results from the form EC8A is entered into another form unit by unit, there are party agents at the RA level and security personnel who will also sign.

Layer 3: LG collation... The same process is repeated as in layer 2

Layer 4: State collation... The same process is repeated as in layer 3.

Layer 5: National collation centre... Whatever has been collated at the previous layer is brought here for presentation.


So, you see the INEC chairman can not put the collation process on hold just because the results were not uploaded. Uploaded result is not needed for collation. What is needed is the hard copy results which must have been signed by all agents at the PU which would have gone through several layers of further collation before it get to the INEC chairman.


It is ignorance or rather the illusion of knowledge that made those that should know start demanding that he should halt the process because results were not uploaded.

The uploading of results is for transparency not for collation.

The INEC chairman deserves commendation not rebuke. The BVAS machine has to a large extent reduced electoral fraud.

The Bvas figures for accredited voters may not have been altered in some PUs but the results were twisted in most cases in favor of APC.. ie where APC had 17 votes and LP had 210 votes. It was twisted as thus APC 217 while LP 10. We saw this in some result sheets that were uploaded almost immediately but those ones uploaded days after they had time to go and change result sheet but the party agents have copies of the sheet.it was also observed the the sheets uploaded are not the ones signed at the polling units.
Obi go reclaim our stolen mandate. They are just pretending as if they don't know what happened. This is the right time if justice is not served we will continue like this in every election to come..

Didn't you see the video of a woman at the national collation center complaining on how all Lagos poling units result sheets at the REC unit now has correction fluid all over it.

It was a deliberate action from Mahmood yakubu.

INEC prevented the corpers from uploading the result sheets so that after Mahmood yakubu has announced the fake results of Lagos, then APC fraudstars can now tally up what Mahmood read with the results sheets at the REC unit. See how they are now uploading it sharp sharp 5 days after election.
