Jesus Christ explained in John 6 vs 25 - 35 that the work which you are to do is believing in the one who He sent and certainly that work involves more than mental acknowledgement of Him as He goes on further to explain in John 8 vs 31 - 38 that it involves living one's life in continuous submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments. So, if you do not work, how can you claim to be of Jesus Christ who instead called all His followers to work in order to prove themselves worthy of Him?

Look, one thing is obvious. If you are averse to working, and taking personal responsibility for your own salvation, then Jesus Christ is definitely not the one you want as you doom yourself to eternal damnation if you cling to Him yet refuse to do as He commands.
