Obi did well and state academic staff union were on strike for more than six months, school fees was increased by more than 50%, state medical doctors were on strike for 13 months, there was no local government election and he consequently impeached, poverty and crime rate increased due to his failure to implement minimum wage. When state Civil servants prevailed on him he threatened them with mass retrenchment beginning from the non indigenous civil servants. He did well yet he could not even live in the state but moved to live in the state of a governor that did far better.
