Igbo businessmen are not going anywhere. If you don't like it, you are free to go and drown in the lagoon. Didn't we fight a war against them to maintain one indivisible country? Igbo traders as citizens are free to do their business in Nigeria wherever they like. They didn't tell any native not to compete with them in trading. If you lack business acumen and they outsmart you to dominate in your land, whose fault is that?

See how you lie and take what never belongs to you.
When was the South West created. Ask people who know better than you about TinCan Island Port. Major-Gen Yar'Adua, as chief of staff, supreme qrts, Commissioned it.
Make you enquires and thank me later. MMIA,was built by the Federal Government, with Nigeria money, not South West.

You are 100% right, sometimes, I wonder wether there's an admin in this platform.
I don't know which of the authorities to report them to, I could have done it.
The kind of hate speech and inciteful thread going on here unchecked is very alarming, I wish someone Will call the admin to other.

What section of the constitution states that?

Indomie generation that starts useless threads without knowing the law

Section 41 and 42 of the Nigerian constitution says: at Commission does not accord recognition.

41. (1) Every citizen of Nigeria is entitled to move freely throughout Nigeria and to reside in any part thereof, and no citizen of Nigeria shall be expelled from Nigeria or refused entry thereby or exit therefrom.

42. (1) A citizen of Nigeria of a particular community, ethnic group, place of origin, sex, religion or political opinion shall not, by reason only that he is such a person:-

(a) be subjected either expressly by, or in the practical application of, any law in force in Nigeria or any executive or administrative action of the government, to disabilities or restrictions to which citizens of Nigeria of other communities, ethnic groups, places of origin, sex, religions or political opinions are not made subject; or

(b) be accorded either expressly by, or in the practical application of, any law in force in Nigeria or any such executive or administrative action, any privilege or advantage that is not accorded to citizens of Nigeria of other communities, ethnic groups, places of origin, sex, religions or political opinions.

Nobody, indigene or not, has any advantage over any citizen. So stop openingthese uselessthreads unless you can change the constitution

When will indigenes of several states/regions stop the Igbo domination of their market space?

Back in the 80's,many women own and sell their wears in Mile 2 Market,Lagos. It was filled with Yorubamen and women with few Igbos.

Slowly the matket place turned to Igbo dominated market when Easterners started to troop into Lagos enmass from their region.

There was competition for housing, school, health care, transport, food continued until prices of goods and services skyrocketed only to be available to the highest bidders.

The State govts need to make a law in all states so the indigenes of each region must have at least 85% of the market space for trading etc.Non indigenes of the region can only get 15% market space.

Some trading must be reserved for indigenes of the region and prohibited to non indigenes. This will be a protectionist law where Indigenes can thrivein yheir regions.

The Igbo domination of market place in other regions only bring poverty.
,penury, hopelessness to the indigenes who cant compete with drug pushers.

We need to bring back our markets to the indigenes.Thete is nothing Igbos are doing in our regions that we cant do better than them.Igbo markets will crumble if we the indigenes stop to patronize them but own people.

Make your suggestions

Thank you, bro. Tinubu must restructure Nigeria and give each state and region total control of their economies and resources. We the Niger deltans must control our markets and oil. The Igbos must control their gas and coal. Tinubu will be a coward if he doesn't not restructure Nigeria since that is what the south west have always clamoured for.

This section of the constitution is talking about right to movement. You must think that is the only law in Nigeria. We are talking about business protectionism for indigenes.

If freedom of movement was unlimited how come Abia indigenese cannot work in Anambra civil service.

Try to drive into Aso Rock univited since there is freedom of movement and see if the soldiers will not deal with you.
